Oh I see, I think I have an Anilist but I haven't updated it since forever. Just too used to using MAL tbh. I finished Stone Ocean last week. The ending was worse than what I remembered heh, but still a pretty good part overall. Crazy to think that it's already been 11 years since the first season aired. I also like Part 5 much much more after going through the story again in the anime.

G Witch is pretty fun. It's a more modern take on Gundam with the SoL and academy backdrop, but I like both mecha and cute girls so it's a win-win for me heh. The plot is starting to take shape too which is nice. The delays are annoying though. Other than that I haven't watched much /m/ stuff in recent years. There was also 86 last year. Btw you should check it out if you have the time. It was one of my AOTY last year.

That's pretty cool. For me nothing tops the mech designs in VOTOMS. They have that low-tech, retro sci-fi appeal that makes them so unique in the genre. I've always liked land battles more than space battles too, so it was easier for me to get into than Gundam. The OVAs are really cool as well - they explain a lot about the whole super soldier thing and have a bunch of badass Chirico moments. The Last Red Shoulder, Red Shoulder Document and Pailsen Files are all awesome. You def should check them out.

OH yeah I saw that HxH got some new chapters. FINALLY we got to 400 chapters. The hiatus was so painful, man. I read the news about the serialization yesterday. Couldn't find many details but I hope that just means they're officially moving it from a weekly release to a monthly release. I really wish to see him better and being able to roll out new chapters more regularly.

It didn't help that everyone seemed to have migrated to other websites also. Anyway, thought I should check on things and maybe update my list. I'm still keeping up with anime despite everything and it's tough to keep track of what I've been watching/reading in my head.

Would certainly be a cool thing. Maybe he's even in the band of the hawk depicted in Berserk (Miura used his high school mates as templates for them)

Is it true that Wazarai Shizuya was in high school with Kentaro Miura?

Looking at MAL is sad because I see all these cool people I used to talk to that have disappeared. RIP

Well, you caught up to me, our completed anime stats are similar now.

Towards the end of last year I was in a dip while you were still going strong. Well, 2014 renewed my love in anime, and I'm not only talking about the airing stuff but also about my perspective towards the rest as well. In for more good-ass years of Chinese cartoons, I guess. You've been on MAL since 2009 and I since 2010. That's a good vibe. I'm insane and I know it, but I talk with a lot of newer MAL members and I keep telling myself most of them will leave within a few years, so I enjoy the presence of true stickers.

By the way, I'm a student in England now. That's a big change for me on a lot of levels.
