I've been watching anime since I was a young child, but got very into it around 2016-2017. I love anime I can emotionally connect with and stories which give me some kind of insight into my own life or are just plain interesting. It's hard to describe my taste but I love all sorts of stuff! My interest in anime grows and fades during different periods of my life, but it always seems to be something I return to eventually and continue to love and connect with. I don't typically watch seasonal anime for a variety of reasons, and I just seek out things I'm interested in regardless of when they were made.

My scores can be thought of as rankings against each other rather than ratings. A 10/10 to me is just something which connected with me on a greater level than anything below it, regardless of any flaws it may have which would bring it further away from 'perfection'.
