will add an actual about me but I just some basics for now.
I thank Ado for my love of One Piece because I started watching so I could hear her sing in Film RED.
The MV for Ado's (Uta's) 'Kaze no Yukue' is my #1 favourite animation ever, masterfully directed by Megumi Ishitani, and BEAUTIFULLY animated by Keisuke Mori. It's absolutely worth a watch even if you don't watch One Piece, because it's all original.
Favourite anime episode:
One Piece episode 1015, absolutely, utterly phenomenal. (also directed by Megumi Ishitani, and huge-partly animated by Keisuke Mori)
Favourite opening:
Song-wise, "Haru" (Frieren OP 2)
Visuals-wise, "Uuuuus!" (One Piece OP 26)
Favourite ending:
"anytime anywhere" (Frieren ED 1+2)
Started watching One Piece on July 6th 2022, for the release of RED on August 6th, caught up on September 6th (ep1028), and watched RED on IMAX on November 6th.
Favourite animes prior to current (Frieren):
Sword Art Online; first anime I watched, left a huge impression on me. It's been surpassed by a handful.
No Game No Life; Sora and Shiro are still awesome.
Kakegurui; just love it + Yumeko.
One Piece; one of, if not the greatest story ever told, the anime does have pacing flaws so it fell from #1 once I had watched the masterpiece that is Frieren
16/01/2025 favourites update
Clarification in context of the above section: After thinking for a bit, I've decided to move One Piece anime down to below Kakegurui and No Game No Life. I realised I hadn't moved it even after rating the anime 9 a while back. Still love the manga/story (10) but the anime was paced too badly. Even if it does have some of my favourite episodes of any anime, there are plenty of stinkers. May move further down in the future as I contemplate or watch/rewatch anime as the other favourites below it I've also rated 10s.

I quite like listening to songs based on singers, I'm very grateful that MAL is now paying more attention to the existence of MVs, and I think I've heard almost all of Ado's songs that are in the MAL database.
Hmmm, the newest Ado song that I like is probably Tot Musica,
if it's based on my favorite genre, which is a soft and melodious lullaby.. Sekai no Tsuzuki is very charming.
As a love song, Aitakute is touching and finally, maybe the most famous song from Ado is Usseewa, but in my head, Readymade is a song that can best describe Ado's characteristics and made me start to recognize ado as a talented singer.
how and when did you start liking Ado?
(I read your profile and know you like One Piece.. but I've never read or watched it.. so I can't say much hehe.)
By the way, the "wannabe bum" term is just me playing around, I got no hard feelings for anyone involved, I was just so taken by Ado's voice that I disregarded other nuances.
