Nice to meet you, you can message me about anything anime related or if you just want to chat. I'm always looking forward to talking to people!

Apart from anime I like drawing, playing videogames (mostly jrpg) and reading.
heya!!!! i've been awesome tysm for asking :D and how are you? ^_^
wallflower is something that me and my brother kinda started watching as a joke cuz it looked silly and we weren't really expecting it to be good, and it's kinda an acquired taste i guess?? XD but we've actually been really enjoying it!! i'd recommend it if you like extremely goofy anime. the main girl steals the show tbh!
hope your holidays have been good too ^^ and happy new year !!
oh tysm will do!! :O and thanks for the talk and recommendations that was a lot of fun! ^__^ i will def give updates when i watch!! and feel free to update me if you ever pick up tutu :DD
yesyesyes i highly recommend it then if you like fairytale themes!!! i've seen a lot of people correlate utena and princess tutu so i'm assuming it's likely if you like one you might like the other ^__^ i am a big tutuhead hehehe. the op is so pretty too i never skip it :"} i may start utena or mononoke tonight actually just depends what my bro wants to watch with me :D
princess tutu is absolutely my beloved and another anime i watched recently ish that i just adore sm.... T__Ti ts around 25-26 ish eps but it says it's 38 on here because for whatever reason they're counting each half of an episode from season 2 ??? idk it just aired that way or smth i guess but yeah its only 26 iirc. IT'S GOOD THO i totally love it i think it's my personal favorite of the magical girl genre of what i've seen at least :") despite not watching it as a kid it feels weirdly nostalgic too hehe but yesh i love it sm!!!
omg thats funny cuz my brother has been mentioning mononoke recently since he's been wanting to watch it!! we watch a lot of anime together so i'll for sure check that out next :D and utena sounds amazing but omg nooo those repeating magical girl transformations drive me nuts LMAO as a kid i watched wedding peach and always found it so annoying the girls all had to transform TWICE in every ep. like literally back to back transformations cuz for whatever reason their first outfit they never did battle in so it was like??? why do u even have two outfits then ToT i was so happy when i was finally watching princess tutu because the transformation is rlly short in that BAHAHA
hello!!! im doing pretty good besides getting over being sick, how are u??!! ^_^ and i've been really wanting to watch utena!!!! its one of my top priority shows... it looks amazing i just always struggle with watching anime that exceed like 26 episodes lol T^T personally my most recent fave was kaiba, i adored the art and character design so so much but also the story was very interesting and i love shows that are just set in these incredibly strange worlds, it was only like 12-ish eps too iirc? which for me are my favorite bwahaha :D
They are made by the same person. I'm really not a "When the cry" franchise expert, but I would recommend following this watching schedule: Higurashi the VN [(also considered to be a sound novel), it can be replaced with Higurashi season 1, and Higurashi Kai (answer arcs), however the best experienced is gained by reading the VN) --> Higurashi Special: Nekogoroshi-hen --> Higurashi Rei --> Higurashi Gou --> Higurashi Sotsu --> Umineko (the whole VN, NOT the anime) --> Ciconia --> Ciconia answer arcs (not yet released)
Hi, thanks for the comment and sorry for the late replay. I first watched the anime, so I am the living proof that you can start with the anime. However, many When they cry fans recommend reading the SN anyway. I personally agree with that. You can substitute the first season of the anime and the answer season (S2) for the VN, but you will need to watch the other anime series to understand when they cry. On that note, it is advisable to read Umineko when they cry instead of watching the anime.
Also I recommend the Youtube channel of Bess Sonozaki after you watch the first 2 seasons of Higurashi.
Hey, thanks! Hope you're doing well too. Plot is overrated anyway. Part of what makes Magic Knight Rayearth so special to me is how "generic" it is. The themes and presentation of the show compliment its arguably unambitious story which makes for a great comfort show. Season 2 gets a decent bit more complex though. I feel the same way about a lot of shows.
Glad to hear that, haha. I put a lot of work into it.
Hey wassup, Hope all good at your end. There a few Spring 21 animes which are really good - To your enternity, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song, Shakunetsu Kabaddi, Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou Desu, Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou and Shiguang Daili Ren (Its a OP donghua). Are you watching anything good ?
nice :)
sry for the late reply btw - you prob forgot about me by now :D
how I got into anime:
as a kid I saw some anime on tv but didnt know what anime was just thought its some cartoon
I also didnt have many tv channels so I could only watch when I visited my grandma or neighbours (saw some ep pokemon/dragonball but mainly yugioh/monster rancher back then)
I rewatched these shows a few years after but for some reason never got more into anime
also yugioh etc are kinda bad imo
if I would watch em know without nostalgia goggles I would def see they arent as great as I thought back then
after the rewatches there was a long break and last year my friend kept saying "Naruto is so good I dont even like anime but watch it"
I gave it a try and liked it a lot (besides some fillers and some other slight problems)
wasnt sure if I would watch more anime but then I checked out death note and fmab and loved em

I am currently re-watching Higurashi Gou, and I will start Sotsu, after that. What about you?
Glad to hear that, haha. I put a lot of work into it.
