ご挨拶貴婦人!

Happy Holidays and here's a little something I want to share:

Kurt_Irving Jun 29, 2023 6:32 PM
Goddamn I'm late! But anyway miss, what do you love most about Tales of Phantasia?

I bet it's Kosuke Fujishima's character designs. Yeah! Ah! My Goddess is still really cool.
Retro8bit Jun 5, 2014 12:26 PM
Danners, you had a chance to watch "Sword Art Online?" It seems like an anime you would really enjoy. :)
Retro8bit Dec 29, 2012 12:12 PM
Danners! I see you still log into your MAL page. I am happy to see that, and glad you are enjoying it. :)
Retro8bit Mar 28, 2012 10:03 AM
Yeah I noticed that you haven't been very active on Facebook these past months, so I thought I would drop you a line here. See how you were doing.

Oh my gosh that is wonderful Dana!!! You don't know how happy I am for you! ^_^ Finding a job anywhere in this economy is truly a task, yet you have managed to not only find one, but a full time one as well. I pray that you are happy and blessed over there, and enjoy the days you will be spending at your job. Having good co-workers that are helpful only makes things all the better there, and truly a fun place to work.

Wow, you are graduating already? How time flies. I am proud of you my friend, keep up the good work and always stay true to your goals. :)

I am doing good. Work, eat and sleep is how my days been going. Still hoping to get that full time job myself, so I can move out and buy my own house. I am already saving up for it. Part time work helps alot, just not quite what I need in order to buy a house. Wish me luck.

Oh by the way, how is your Comic going?
Retro8bit Mar 22, 2012 12:26 PM
Danners! Long time no talk. I see you are still getting on MAL, happy to see it is still of use to you! ^_^

How have you been? I miss our chats.
Shioko_Karu Jan 10, 2012 10:42 AM
Our anime compatibility is pretty high! Just saying :)

DANNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's nice to talk to you again, I was seriously starting to get worried, hadn't seen you on any of the sites we're friends on. Was hoping you were okay. Hey, a quiet Christmas is a great Christmas I always feel. That way you don't have a headache afterwards. Oh so you are still dogsitting eh? I hope this one went a lot smoother than the last. Remember you saying there were some stumbling blocks last time.

Congrats on your all A's Dana!!! See, I knew you had it in you! As long as you study and stick with it, you really can't fail.
Oh so that's why you haven't been on Facebook, I see... I don't blame you. But at the same time, you shouldn't let them get in the way of enjoying the site for yourself, if you don't mind me saying so. :) It's cool though, whenever you have the time.

Santa brought me lots of stuff. Well, I got a $50 gift card to Gamestop, if that counts. Christmas went well, spent it with my immediate family, and spent Christmas day with my parents (we watched a movie). Went to put flowers on my Grandpa's grave as well, got him a little Santa Claus.

As for my New Years resolutions: Find a better job, drop some pounds, and try to be more helpful to others (This past year I was kind of involved in my own stuff).

*super duper hug* I miss talking with you too Dana, please try and write back more often (when you get the chance). I miss our chats.

No problem, hope you have a pleasant rest of your day. ^_^

By the way-- Do you have MSN? If you do, it might be an easier way for us to chat.

Ah, hello! I just finished reading your comic! <3 I liked it very much! ;_; Especially how the characters interact with eachother and a good storyline so far! Keep up the good work (I'll be happy if you update at all = u=) <3<3

I don't have a problem with trying out new things, well, at least with food anyway. I love to try things out at least once, but I guess that is off topic huh? XD

College life is so short when we look at the grand scheme of things, just stay focus on your studies, and you will do fine. Also, remember not to stack up your plate with too much work.

I only have about two or three apps on Facebook, and those are only the ones I actually think are important, not just for games.

We have been having some pretty hot weather over here. Well, it started off on the cool side, with a lot of rain and wind, then at the end of July it started to heat up again. I live in a dry area, so having the rain is definitely a plus for me.

I still have not heard from him yet. It was sad, I went back to where our old restaurant use to be, and it is now a sushi bar. They certainly took over the spot quick. I do hope they have better luck than we did.

Designing business cards? That sounds like something you would be very good at Danners. I have a friend who does that sort of thing too (similar anyway). And they love it!!

So, how is "Maid-sama" going so far? I see you are well into it. :)
Retro8bit Aug 13, 2010 1:05 PM
You should, I bet you could save yourself some major money by going to the one by your college. The one we have here is only about 20 bucks to go too. And for it's size, they have some nice events.

Hey now, Digital Photography sounds like something I would enjoy, a bit different than what most classes are like. I take it you get lots of hands-on training? Well at the very least, you should be grateful that some classes end sooner than others. Even if you will be having to cram a bit more during certain points, at least they are not be prolonged.

What annoys me, are those stupid applications everyone adds on Facebook. Many of my fiends enjoy doing this fortune cookie app everyday, drives me nuts sometimes!! Why the cough? Dana, you aren't stalking people now are you? :P

I love when it rains here, because usually our summers are very dry, but this time it's been very moist. Sometimes it does cause humidity though. Thanks, I am glad I made it out too, luckily it was a side street I was on, had it been the free-way, that would have been awful. :(

Thanks! ^_^ I try my best, but there are other workers who are more skilled than me. Even so, as long as you give it your all. Speaking of which, how has the job hunting gone for you?
Retro8bit Aug 12, 2010 11:02 AM
Yeah I saw the pictures you posted on Facebook, looks like you guys had a grand time there! We have a convention here ourselves, it will be the third annual one this September. It's quite small at present, but over time, we hope to see it grow. As for school, you'll be fine! I once had to take 5 classes in college, it wasn't easy, but so long as you can stay focused on it, it'll go well. :) What classes are they if I might ask?

What makes Facebook hard, is that you comment on other people's comment's, so if you don't click on the over head link, they can be hard to find. I like the simplicity that MAL has with the comments, of course that's just me. :) My summer has been going pretty good, we have finally been getting some still days here, there for a while it was terribly windy and rainy. In fact it rained so hard a few days ago, that I literally couldn't see the road in front of me. Now, it's nice. Also, my boss sold his company to someone else, so I am going to see if I can get hired on with them.
Retro8bit Aug 10, 2010 12:29 PM
So it has been a while since we have chatted here on MAL, how have you been Danners? :)
Retro8bit Feb 22, 2010 8:36 AM
I still remember the grouch national anthem that plays at the beginning of the movie. I think the reason I love the film so much, is that unlike the series, this one actually has a plot and is fun for the whole family.

Yeah don't feel bad, I watched Barney too. My dad was always trying to get me to watch it as a kid. Oh man Doug, I loved that show, along with Rocko's Modern Life and Ren & Stimpy. Powerder Toastman to the rescue!!!!

I use to love TGIF, don't forget: Dinosaurs, it debuted on there as well. Man, I wish they still showed Dinosaurs. I have some old VHS tapes I recorded of them about 14 years ago. Do you happen to still have a working VCR Dana? I do, had since the late 90's and it still works to this day.

Shhhh, don't tell anyone my shame. >.> <.< Hahaha, I think it's safe to say now that we watch almost the exact same cartoons. I too am a fan of Spongebob (it was his hat Mr. Krabs...he was number one!), Fairly Odd Parents. Though I think they have gone a bit downhill since they started. Danny Phantom was cool too, they still show it on Nick Toons Network. :)

Ah Garfield and Friends, great series. I loved "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure!" He was on a mission to rescue his bike! "Good morning breakfast---good morning Pee-Wee!"

Hmmm good list, mine would probably be:

Underdog
Gummi Bears
Heathcliff
Inspector Gadget
Pound Puppies
The Racoons

Yes, my kids will be forced to watch these! XD
Retro8bit Feb 20, 2010 9:31 AM
Have you by chance ever seen the movie "Follow that Bird?" I use to watch it as a kid. It's a movie where Big Bird runs away from home (can't remember why), and all the Sesame Street characters go on a search for him. They have Grover as "Super Grover" who is flying with his cape. While other characters search on the ground, sea and sky as well. It's a great movie. Haven't seen it in like ten years. I feel so old now.

I watched a little bit of Arthur, but that might have come out after I stopped watching PBS and the like. I heard that Reading Rainbow just got canceled sometime last year. That show lasted forever.

The music I like is from the 50's - mid 90's. After that I felt it went down hill. That along with cable TV. Seems like all these channels change for the worst. In fact (not sure if you know of this channel) Toon Disney use to be an awesome station (cartoons 24/7), then about half a year or so, they changed it to "Disney XD". Which now for the most part, only shows canceled Disney Channel shows made a few years ago. Did we really need another copy of the Disney channel?! They had something more unique, then dropped the ball...again. v_v Sorry, guess it's kind of silly that a grown man still like cartoons. Guess I just never grew up! XD

It's funny that you mention that, but I actually thought of the same thing regarding my future kids just last month. I thought to myself: "when I have kids, I am going to show them all the old school cartoons so they can appreciate the quality they had back then." Heathcliff was one of the titles that came to my mind, since I was watching the intro on Youtube at that time.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
