A bit about myself...
I am a professional media critic with an IQ of 210. I have been exclusively watching 20th-century cinema throughout my entire life, but recently decided to try my hand at anime at the behest of a close friend. Never would have I realized that the medium is home to some of the saddest, most immature individuals to ever exist. Everywhere I see, anime fans tend to harbor borderline criminal behaviors such as sniffing women's undergarments, craving for the sight of private parts, and fawning over prepubescent girls. I would honestly report all these miscreants to the authorities, but against my better judgment, I shall continue to tolerate them.
I decided to create this MAL account to log my viewing history and attune myself with the anime fandom. So far, there has been little success with the latter. MAL users are in fact far more primitive than the common anime fan. I do enjoy the site's features, however, so I shall continue using MAL as long as my patience permits. God knows how long I can persevere before I meet my timely end from such overwhelming degeneracy.
Before you ask, I do not own a Letterboxd account. I find the site to be clunky and too flashy for my taste. Moreover, I find the community there to be almost as bad as the one here because of their penchant for low-brow cinema. Perhaps I shall create an account there once it loses its tabloid atmosphere.
Lastly, I only reply to people I deem worthy of conversation. I will not mince words on those who I believe to be uninformed or intellectually lacking. Having the same taste in anime or films as me does not guarantee us being friends.
