About Me
Just got into anime a couple of years ago, because I had nothing else to do during the pandemic. Prior to then, I didn't really care for anime, I thought all anime was cringe shit for weebs lol. All the shows I knew at the time were Dragon Ball, Naruto, Demon Slayer, etc. basically all the most popular shows. I personally felt they weren't for me, so I didn't bother to waste my time with the medium. However, that was until I watched Hunter X Hunter, which was the one that started my newfound appreciation for anime. I loved everything about it, from the story, the characters, animation, etc. which made me want to watch more like it. And even though now Hunter X Hunter's no longer a favorite of mine, I will always hold it in high regard. Currently, my favorites as you can see from my bio, Eva, Spirited Away, Millenium Actress, etc. have now made anime/manga as one of my favorite mediums. It's between anime and live-action as my all-time favorite. If you're interested in discussing anime or film, that would be great, I love discussing both.
MY FAVORITE ANIME/MANGA
In Text Form:
Along with having absolutely stellar direction with well-defined and developed characters. Having some truly amazing moments that engulf you into its immersive reality, a favorite has to resonate with me deeply on an emotional and personal level. It means something personal to me. It's special. It just "clicks" with me whenever I’m watching it or done watching it.

I didn’t know you had a YouTube channel man! Subscribing!
Lol I was looking for my previous comment for so long before I read your message about it. It's all good. Third Impact was mind-blowing in theaters yea, and the live-action part was so fascinating to watch there too.
Facts brodie it's top 3 across the board for me too! Just outta curiosity, what are the other things that would be among your favs with Eva?
You summed up my thoughts about Eva perfectly. The very definition of "hits different". I went into post anime depression for a while after finishing it. Like the journey being done and how few people can quite grasp the way it affects you and how you feel attached to that world and characters. It's tough. I always find it ridiculously difficult to explain exactly my relationship with it. It definitely is unlike anything I've ever seen. Very special indeed. Do you think any anime could ever touch it for you in the future? Like can it be matched or even surpassed? I personally don't think it can for me.
