I also forgot to mention. You're a bit more right about the whole B team thing than you prolly would've thought. Instead of Production I.G working on animation, one of its subsidiaries, Tatsunoko Production, did the visuals. None of the people who wrote or directed the show came back to do the same here aside from maybe leaving some notes or giving the go-ahead on certain ideas, since they were working on the Psycho-Pass movie that would be animated by I.G. A different and inferior scriptwriter was charged with this and it's like he didn't even understand the very thing he was writing a sequel of to begin with.
Pretty good Psycho-Pass 2 review. I do wish you also mentioned how asinine the script is -finale especially included- and I do disagree on the OP, though that one is a matter of taste. You did a pretty good job at smacking that dreck show in the face and yea, it is definitely a pale imitation of a much better show. Hope to read more good ones from you in the future.
