Cheerio! I am just your average joe who loves Anime/Manga! Although I use this fancy looking scoring system I don't really consider myself a harsh critic just a seasoned watcher who is a little bit dissatisfied with the direction anime has taken over the years. Or maybe I just got too old for what is popular right now^^

Here’s my scoring system:
• 10: An all-time favourite of mine
• 9: Great show with many things to love. Great characters and a good story make these shows a joy to watch.
• 8: A very good show with minor flaws. It is enjoyable from start to finish.
• 7: An enjoyable show with some flaws but has enough good elements to make up for it.
• 6: A show I enjoyed for the most part but some flaws or problems keep it from being considered good.
• 5: An average show it is not necessarily bad but is not that good either.
• 4: A bad show which had interesting ideas or setting but failed to execute them in a meaningful manner.
• 3: A terrible show but it was watchable to some degree.
• 2: Shows that are extremely bad with no redeeming quality whatsoever
• 1: A score reserved for the absolute worst. It was painful to sit and watch the whole show. These shows are offensively bad.

On a side note, recap episodes generally get a 5 at best. It is my belief that they are unnecessary and a waste of time for the most part. If the series in question is really shitty I change the score accordingly.

Seasonal Anime Top 3:

In my seasonal Top 3 I only include finished series. If for example a series is 2-cour I will include it in the season it finished.

For my anime of the year I only pick new series or movies and no continuations/sequels (JoJo may be th only exceptions because each part is technically it's own story^^). As you can see the list is still a work in progress mostly because I havent seen too much anime before the 2000 years
