My ratings are based off of personal enjoyment and the objective opinion of the story itself. Personal enjoyment is like, 90% of the rating for me.
10 - Masterpiece. Anime at a 10 typically grab me emotionally or personally and run with it, affecting me deeply. Sometimes it's just so badass that I'm blown away from what I've just witnessed. The messages, characters, visuals, soundtrack, everything in it just culminates into something beautiful and incredible that I can't stop thinking about it. I will say some anime at a 10 might come with some bias, even if I know deep down it's not really a 10. It just feels right to me. However, some are beyond worthy of a 10.

9 - Amazing. Anime that I loved watching and just couldn't put down. Anything at a 9+ are personal favorites and ones I would recommend first to those that asked. Anime at a 9 may be considered less "special" than those at a 10, but still amazing pieces of media.

8 - Great. An incredible anime I really enjoyed watching and praise very highly. Typically has some minor flaws that I can overlook from my enjoyment of the rest of the show. A very small step down from a 9, which could be due to storytelling, characters, or just not enjoying it as much as other 9+ animes. Highly recommend.
7 - Very Good. I had lots of fun watching these and didn't have many bad things to say about them, although they are not without their criticisms. Any negative aspect is highly outweighed by a positive one, but it shouldn't go unnoticed. Most 7's just lack something to give it an 8 rating for me.

6 - Above Average. There are probably some aspects I really enjoyed, but tacked onto other aspects I didn't like which brought its score down dramatically. However, there are many more positives than negatives with an anime at a 6/10. Overall something I enjoyed watching but wasn't enthralled by. I would recommend anything from a 6 up with little to no hesitation.
5 - Average. It's fine. I enjoyed watching most of it, but I didn't think of it as anything special. The good and bad aspects of the show balance each other out. Far from awful and kept my attention for its runtime.

4 - Below Average. Similar to my 3 rating, not the worst thing I have ever seen but it has a handful of redeeming aspects I can enjoy. But overall, it left me disappointed in what they had to offer. This is usually my lowest score for shows I still sort of enjoy, if not ironically (looking at you Redo of Healer).

3 - Pretty Bad. Not the worst thing I have ever seen but definitely very below average. It might have good ideas and promising parts but failed to capitalize on most of what they set up and left me disappointed.
2 - Very Bad. Very boring, and not worth putting any more time into. Even with a rating this low there are still positives to be found, if only minimal. Would only recommend as a meme or if it's necessary to watch to progress to a more watchable story.

1 - Basically Unwatchable. No redeemable aspects including storyline, characters, animation, etc. This was probably an insane chore to finish, and had me teetering on whether or not to even bother finishing it. I had no fun watching this, I would never watch it again, and I would never recommend this to anyone. This is hard to achieve, honestly. Congratulations.
