It's dumb when people hate every Israelis because of their shitty leader decision, or in general every Middle East country. This is like the hate between sunni/shia going on for eternity, it's beyond dumb smh. I did watch Contact and in fact I really enjoyed it haha! It's such a underrated movie, interstellar took the fame away.. pretty sad :(. I loved the atmosphere of the movie, it's really well made and the actors fantastic haha, I loved Dr Ellie. The scene where she meets the alien, that part nearly made me cry. It was such a beautiful scene. Thanks for the recommendation! <3

Yea same, read them online too. Would love to support the creators but will do that whenever I move out and have a job haha. But this is my manga collection! Around 50 - 60 manga (I know it doesn't look like it haha). The last one I bought is the Atom one! I love that manga haha, I suddenly came across it when I was checking the anime shop where I live. I was filled with joy seeing the manga finally coming here, had to get it asap!

Ah you should add them movies you watched as kiddie! It's always fun going thru old movies you have seen! Gives off that nice/sad nostalgia feelings. You know what.. you should totally rewatch all of your childhood movies hehe. It's pretty fun to do that! :D


Honestly, I will watch anything haha. I don't like to follow on just a few genres. I'm full open for any genres and any type of years the movies, series, etc came out. It's more fun and exciting watching anything haha :D

Yeah I know, When it comes to the English dub I only really enjoy the English cast. I can't stand the Engish opening theme now. It wasn't until 2019 I saw digimon in the Japanese dub that I knew it was way better especially when the op & score music. I may never watch the fox kids English dub again

With horror and action, it's more common for me to like the sequels more, with sci-fi or comedy I usually like the first installment. That's interesting, I love the first Terminator, but I love Judgement Day way more like most people, I guess I'm a sheep that follows the herd lol.

More me, it's not rare for me to like sequels more than the originals. I love NOES 3, Rambo 3, FT13 Part 4, and Exorcist 3 to name a few lol.

Nice! I like Chelsea Girl by Nico quite a bit, with that cover of Jackson Browne's "These Days" being one of my favorite songs of all time. My father has always been a huge Jethro Tull fan, so it definitely rubbed off on me. Probably not a popular choice, but Songs From The Wood is my favorite of theirs as a whole album. Benefit is also a great album. Probably a very unpopular choice, but I like Rock Island quite a bit. It was their latest album when I first started getting serious about music, along with the previous album Crest of a Knave. I really need to go through their entire discography again. But they were definitely part of my childhood and beyond.


My favorite Rolling Stones period is 65-68, with an emphasis on 66. That whole Between the Buttons era especially. I like all of the stuff before and after that era, but that is my favorite stuff. And I also agree with you about Piper at the Gates of Dawn being my favorite Pink Floyd album. I love the Syd Barrett era, and the singles that came out around the same time like See Emily Play and Apples & Oranges are personal favorites. Beach Boys, obviously Pet Sounds. Can't really deny that one. I love Smiley Smile, even though it will always be seen as fragments of an unfinished masterpiece. I happen to love what they were able to put together from those sessions. With Bob Dylan, yeah, all of it. Everything. Too hard to pick favorites. Not as much lately, but at one time I listened to nothing but Dylan for at least 2 years.

So what exactly is Dragon Ball Recut? I'm not seeing it when I search for it on MAL. If it's what I'm thinking it is, that would probably be a very economical way for me to save time. If I can find it I can at least put it in my "watch later" list. 230-240 episodes sounds much more manageable than 400, for sure. I have a few friends that are big fans of the show, so I feel like I should get around to it eventually, but I doubt they would realize if I watched a shorter version. So if you can let me know how to find it on here, it would help a lot.



As for music, I'll start with the 60s (as I'm not quite as familiar with any one particular artist from the 50's, mostly just singles.) So some of my favorite artists (meaning I'm completely familiar with all of their albums from this decade) are The Kinks (especially 65-69,) The Zombies, Bob Dylan, The Pretty Things, Small Faces, The Beatles, The Beach Boys (especially 65-68,) King Crimson, The Doors (mostly their first 3 albums,) Donovan, Harry Nilsson, The Four Tops, The Shangri-Las, Ennio Morricone (my favorite film composer,) and those are just the ones that I'm sure you would be familiar with. I'll leave it with the 60s for now, so feel free to tell me about what your favorite artists, albums, songs, etc., are from that decade, and what you think about the ones I've mentioned, if you'd like to continue the conversation in this type of way.

I would like to do the same thing, In the U.S. we got Digimon season one released in Japanese and English released by Discotek. They are two different Blu Ray releases. They are region A Blu Ray release. We are getting Season 2 release soon.


That's cool man do you have a favorite Soundgarden & Alice in Chains album? My favorite Soundgarden album usually is Louder then love (I even own a t shirt of the cover) I've been leaning torwards to Badmotherfinger lately. for AiC Dirt.
that's great that you know your knowledge of Alice in Chains. I own Chris Cornell other bands albums on CD. I only have his first solo on CD. I believe Temple of the dog has Chris best work.

Awesome! I love Mad Max, especially Road Warrior, Unforntuily though I never got into Planet of the Apes. I have tons of slasher recommendations if you'd like. I remember the first Blu Ray I saw, It was Alien, It was also the first time I watched Alien too and my world was forever changed when I saw the chest burster scene lol.

Good choices mi amigo. Some of my other favorite horror has to be Fatal Exposes(from 1989, you'll have to buy the VHS because it's no longer on the internet :o), Mortuary(1983), Three on a Meathook, and Blood Rage.
