Oh hey, I've neglected writing this shit for about as long as I've had this account. I guess now is a good a time as any. Let's get this shit done. So, about me, I'm not sure where my journey with anime started to be honest. I do remember watching a couple firsts though, in no particular order though. Inuyasha I remember watching a couple of episodes of on TV of all places at my family house in Wisconsin. It was this channel owned by Funimation or something, it was weird. The other were these two anime I saw on On Demand. I now know these two as Sousei no Aquarion and Ninin ga Shinobuden or Ninja Nonsense. Another candidate for first anime was Bamboo Blade. This is an anime that my brother swears is my first, I doubt that notion though. Now that that's out of my way, Joining MAL. I liked anime way before I actually got a MAL account, but before then, anime wasn't really an obsession. It wasn't until joining MAL when my obsession really took off. Why did I joined MAL? Well, my story starts from watching a Yogscast video oddly enough. As I was watching it, I was browsing the recommended videos. And one of them was a review of a show called "Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt". The odd title not only enticed me, but it happened to have a picture of a cartoon girl wearing a sign with her underboob showing. From clicking that thumbnail, my life was changed dramatically. The video really made me want to watch the show. Not only that, but I was also attracted to it because it looked like something I would watch spending a late Saturday night on Adult Swim. That led me to watching the whole thing and I became immediately obsessed. Almost unhealthily obsessed, I would look all over the internet trying to find some hint of a second season to no avail. After the initial obsession, I started watching some anime YouTubers, which led me to watching recommendation videos. The recommendation I took was Shimoneta, although that didn't contribute much to my developement as an anime fan. What really kicked it off was this article recommending some anime of the 2016 winter anime season. I started watching a couple of those, which somehow led me to getting a MAL account. That is how my development as an anime fan started.



I think something else I should mention is the other shows I watched that are not on MAL, but could be mentioned, not necessarily anime inspired though.
