Year 2 of cote is full of surprises. The new first years are interesting. Meanwhile kei ❤️ . Did you see the cover silhoutte of y2 v7?
I'm honestly not certain if Killua is my favourite from HxH, I just restricted myself to one character per series in my favourites list for variety (otherwise it might've been a bit lopsided towards guess-which-series). He probably is, but there's tons of strong competition. And nice, it feels like I'm perpetually on the verge of rewatching this show myself; already gone at it proper twice, plus separate out-of-order rewatches of single arcs which approximately add up to a third watch in total.
Really curious to see how well DB would hold up for me today actually; I might remove it after I rewatch it, but I'll forever treasure it as a gateway anime obsession. Vegeta's awesome man, I love his arc throughout the story.
Can't comment too much on your favourites besides saying that HxH is, like, my favourite thing. Monster is too much of a classic for me not to check out at some point but I'm not feeling it yet, and Code Geass and especially Bleach are fairly low-priority for me.
Manga looking solid af though; AoT is one of the few I've truly enjoyed, and I want to go back and read at least the Uprising Arc (picked it up from where S4 part 1 left off). I'll likely pick up Haikyuu and Vinland at some point too — loved their anime adaptations. And Naruto is super dear to me, though I'm only familiar with the anime (as usual). I also spy a Light Novel which, ew, raw words. (jokes aside, I've been somewhat intrigued by Classroom of the Elite, though I simultaneously don't expect to like it too much — either way, I likely won't read the novel).
I kinda loved the first ep of Summertime Render tbh. First of all as soon as the ep started I was pleasantly surprised by the visuals, it looked very pretty. Also the OST was really good throughout as well! During the whole episode it was consistently interesting, I was enjoying my time but the end, I almost jumped out of my chair, I was very surprised. I dont know yet how the "ability" of the main character works and what it is but it reminded me of Subaru from Re:zero and I love Subaru's ability. The ending as well, I thought it was really unique. Needless to say I am very interested to watch the next episodes. Since u have read some of the manga I want to ask something. I heard that they are gonna adapt the entire manga, all 139 chapters into the 25 episodes, I dont have a source but thats what I have heard. Do u think thats gonna be a concern, the anime being rushed or something like that? I also heard that the chapters are very fast paced so it shouldnt be a problem. Also they might not even adapt the entirety of it, but in case they do I am just asking.
I have actually watched the first 10 episodes of Gintama like 2 years ago. I know that it takes a while to pick up, what I mean is that many people dont find it interesting at first since its mostly just comedy but around ep 60 it starts to get serious and thats when people start liking it. I want to continue it one day but, certainly not anytime soon. I hope u are enjoying it!!
