Hello human. i come in peace. i apologize for coming uninvited to this holy place of yours. i have finished a show that i really like. due to having only a few or no friends. i needed people to talk about that show. i went to the statistics page for the anime in question on this site. i have noticed that you have completed the show relatively recently and you have a picture which means you care about your social status to some degree. i am a weird person. i am not an English native speaker. i am not an interesting individual. some think otherwise, but i do not think so, at least in terms ....ok i do not know what to say next so let us close on that. i would like to discuss or at least share my appreciation of the show. i do not know how. every person is different and so not everyone is interested in talking the same way. luck is my only ally here. thanks and again. the show i am talking about is Uchuoten Kazoku, and in English it is called the eccentric family. have a good day. always drink water.
Actually, moreso than the end line, I guess I was wondering more about the timing and apparent seamlessness of the original voice vs. the dub, but IllConstruct told me why.
Haha, no, I completely understand. Do hit me up if you have anything to talk about though, but I guess there really isn't much to discuss with a loser that watches only old stuff like me.
Hey, long time no talk. Sorry to be so random, but I just thought I'd share one example of why I hate most dubs. To me, this simply kills the Death Note:
Yuck. Just makes me nauseous. Note how the original voice actor timed his voice with the scene, pausing his voice at exactly the right points to highlight the background music (flutes) and frame changes. The dub actor didn't even bother, and the way he said "AND EAT IT" is so overblown. Makes the scene downright silly, to me.
Fate/Zero is definitely on my radar... but maybe not until next winter, or next summer... basically whenever I get this 40" back again. I really want to play the visual novel first, then at least watch Unlimited Blade Works before diving into the Zeroes. But I don't want to waste time playing VNs this summer either.
Wow, seeing a lot of 11/12 on your list. Are we nearing the end of a season?
Seeing how freaking high Sakamichi is rated, I can't wait to try it. Just waiting for the last episode. Hopefully there are some good fansubs for it already. At the moment, I'm anxiously waiting for NyanTaku to finish up their Chihayafuru subs, or well anyone good to pick it up, cuz the only choice now (Commie) is pretty iffy, and Chihayafuru really looks like something that has the potential to be a big hit with me, so I don't want to half-ass it.
I already knew about it, but i also didn't watch those back to back, just once a day wondering if there were actually any differences other than clothes.
Oh, gosh, Yuru Yuri. I was hoping for something a bit more K-ON-ey, but it ended up barely hitting par. All five protags from K-ON were awesome, but only two out of the Yuru Yuri four were likeable, never feeling as realistic as K-ON's. Oh well.
Yeah that Fullbring arc just came out of freaking nowhere, i was like WTF!? is this when it started. Got good at the end though.
Yeah im FINALLY watching, probably the last person in the world. Well as im 10 episodes in i'd say it's an okay show and idk why it had all the hype it did. Unless the last 4 episodes are just OMG amazing, then this show is a total hypefest. I will not be watching that Endless Eight or whatever either, no point in me rewatching the same stuff.
I know, im so sad. I think it will continue later on though because from what i read the anime pretty much caught up with the manga so once the mangs gets farther along to the actual finish, they should start the anime back up, hopefully.
Hey, do you know if we'll need any of our old hardware for Embedded? A&D breadboard, oscilloscope, chips/resistors, etc? If you don't know, could you please ask anyone you know who took Embedded?
I'm asking because my parents did a lot of moving, and all that hardware junk is probably stuck somewhere deep inside some storage room, and it'd be a bitch to move furniture around to find them.
I e-mailed Plassmann, but not getting any response from the guy...

Any other new things you'd recommend?
Not two, 1.5 really. Kyouko full, Yui half.
