Not sure if you read my review, but I wrote about both opinions. I obviously don’t agree with the positive opinion I wrote, but I believe I understand it. If my positive review failed to showcase what you were saying, that’s my bad. The reason I still dislike MT despite the fact that I understand what fans love about is cause 1. the development in 1 season is slower than Re:Zero, which is my bar for ‘minimum amount of character development’ for 2 cours. 2. Being a pervert is not a well-written flaw. I don’t think it’s relatable the way Rudeus is either. The writer didn’t have to have Rudeus start out like that. His development so far has not even been the bare minimum of human decency towards Eris and Roxy or any women tbh. Ep11 of cour 2 invalidated all of that. I can’t deny there are positives like you said, but they’re not enough to justify the very flawed flaws for me at least. If you still think it’s a 10/10, that’s fine by me. I hope you can understand where I’m coming from at least.

As for the scoring, that’s normal. Everyone has different opinions. I almost always find myself disagreeing with most people because of how hyper-critical I am. That’s not necessarily a good thing though lol. I probably go too far for a lot of shows, more than they deserve, but I do have my reasons. I can try to explain for other shows if you’d like as well, though I may take a while to respond.
