Imo I think it's at least better than demon slayer and black clover, and plus this anime isn't finished yet, it still has more to go. Oh well, opinions are opinions.
That's my problem with your review though. Like you've mentioned previously ( and it seems you like to do it)
"I'll continue to give half assed replies"
You say I'm doing whataboutism, yet you failed to make a point about what you expected it to portray! All your review summed up was "It isn't unique, the characters are bland and it has nice fights"
And as for Yuji being unique - I meant that as a *portion* of his unique character arc. Hell in the 4th episode we see Yuji get his arm lopped off, and him having to open his eyes to the fact that he's weak in a world filled with powerful creatures with the power to wreak havoc. This literally conflicts his whole motive of trying to protect the people he cares for who can't fend for themselves, and we see it ripped away from him as he breaks down. In episode 5 we see him literally fucking die.
You say JJK has no fleshed out characters, but you seem not to spend any time analysing things, and prefer friendship to be shoved down your throat ( like Hinata and kageyama going from uncooperative to working together perfectly in less than an episode)
Hinatas only motivation is that he's small, likes volleyball and wants to win. That's literally it. You say we don't get any history, yet we get snippets of Megumi and Nobara's flashbacks in the small amount of episodes *you* have seen. Are you actually paying attention to the episodes?
Comparing that to Haikyuu where certain characters are only used as backup and to only fill the story (Kinoshita and narita) Mahito (the villain you haven't even seen yet) get's fleshed out better in his first 5 minutes of screen time.
And to top it all off the fact you feel like I've been "hating on you" when the only word I said was "ouch" is pretty hilarious.
I'm the butthurt one but you wrote a whole essay on why fairy tail is good? That makes sense. You say fairy tails plot derives from its friendships, but it's obvious that you want to give an excuse to why you rate it so highly. Taking a look at your other reviews and each high rating stems of the fact "OMG CHEMISTRY GUYS". From someone who enjoyed haikyuu up until the most recent season - it's pretty agreed upon that it took a step down in quality due to covid. But obviously for you it's " UH MUH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT" and nothing seems to take priority. You say that Yuji is the an incredibly generic character because he has something inside him, yet I haven't heard any other shounen MC who is literally set to die because of it. When junpei is dying and it seems like sukuna could save him - he says f*ck no and lets him die. It's nothing like a generic show.
Ok first of all prick, use correct words when you are talking to me. Now let me tell One Piece is the best selling manga of all time and one of the most viewed anime. Also you're going to tell me to du something better with my life while you decide to look at my profile and decide to comment on it. Let me tell you something you clown my opinion is my opinion it doesn't have to be correct. But you getting angry and comment shows that I am right about them.
You genetic piece of shit. You suck off every anime that people like to fit in. I hope you die you clown. One Piece a 6 but you give Steins Gate and Gintama 10s.
FUCK YOU
