how about people like Paula Cole, Shawn Colvin or Suzanne Vega? they write some interesting stuff, far from the "party all day because we're young and free and everything's super duper" kinda songwriting :P
podcasts, oh man, right there with ya ;) If there's a movie I'm into, I'll listen to as many episodes on that movie as i can find, perfect for taking long walks at night ;)

Im happy to join the club, equality is something im very passionate about, and there's very few clubs on MAL like it so it was appealing enough for me!
Im doing pretty good, Like you I am also balling my eyes out after every Your lie in April episode! Such a beautiful anime, has become one of my favorites :)
