"Ping Pong the Animation" has been on my radar for a while. I might have to check it out; I heard some amazing things about it. Since you said you find "sports anime really boring", this might be an exception for its rather interesting art style.
I personally found monster to be a really good show. I liked its slow pacing and character developing, but I especially enjoyed the mystery throughout the 74 episodes. I was extremely surprised with the last... 5 to 6 chapters. I liked how everything turned out, and how most of the secrets of Johan and Anna were discovered. The end though... I wasn't expecting after his long chase to try to finish Johan, he would actually save him. I still remember like the quote "All lives are the same", and I guess that was what "encouraged" him to save Johan. Other than that, a really good show.
Now 3-gatsu no lion is something different. At the beginning, I was expecting something kinda boring, but it wasn't. I realized, after a few anime chapters, that the anime was literally following every single line and panel from the manga. I appreciate productions that follow the manga. An interesting show to watch and not get bored at.
Hmm, I wonder how the second season is? If I really like it, I guess I'll always have the possibility to read the manga just where the anime left it off.
Right now I'm probably gonna be watching some dumb animes before I get into some serious ones, like Mushishi.
Long flight coming up, so I gotta get stocked up with manga & anime lol
Hotaru no haka is a sad story. I really liked the historycal type of anime. I got really into the situation of the characters. I personally think that the loss wasn't the boy's fault. It gave me the feeling that the aunt was kinda abusing them, so I guess I would've done something alike. I don't really take shit from people.
I was just looking through my anime list trying to find some interesting ones that you may have not watched. You've watched them all :(
I've already watched 2 out of the 3 (Relife and Anatsu Kyoushitsu). I've heard extremely good things about "The grave of the fireflies", so that's a must watch now. Thanks! :)
