Hello miss! So what do you think of Sorcerer Hunters and Hyper Police? No doubt that they also have adaptations even though they're incomplete.

Studio Pierrot is one of the reasons why I read manga because they are well-known for incomplete adaptations, but I like the fact that they hired some talented ladies like Kotono Mitsuishi and Yuko Miyamura one time.

By the way, you and I are about the same age. A shoujo fangirl that I know had a birthday on the 21st. So yes, she's an Aries also.

With that said, I'll be reading Digimon V-Tamers or kill lots of time until future Macross movies come out. One day, "Do You Remember Love?" will be dubbed in many languages since Harmony Gold and Big West agreed to bring old Macross releases worldwide.
uni Apr 14, 2018 1:58 AM
That's true! It might not hurt to send a follow-up email just to check up on things ;n; good luck!! I know some companies can be quite slow with hiring or have a lot of bureaucratic processes they need to take care of first. And ahhh!! Your nails are so pretty ❀ the flower designs and colors are gorgeous and I'm loving the little adornments too c':

Yes! I think the only downside of taking pain meds early is that you have to either have a pretty regular cycle or be able to somewhat predict when your cramps will start ;___; and oh gosh, I definitely know what you mean. I hope it goes smoothly!!

It got so hot over here too!! It cooled down a bit by the end of the week, but I'm not sure how long that will last haha. Has it cooled down a little over there? Hopefully you've been able to sleep better since you sent your last message :( waking up at 4am is so early! I hope your allergies got better too and you were able to refill your meds!

I will for sure! Have you had a chance to watch the new CCS OP and ED yet? It looks like Meiling will be sticking around for another episode at least, which is nice :') I've only watched the first Chihayafuru movie, and even if it didn't quite capture the highs of the anime for me, it was still a pretty solid adaptation nevertheless and a worthwhile watch if you're a fan of the series!

I agree!! And you were quite spot-on re: Violet's ending c: it sounds like some people were a bit letdown by it, but I thought they wrapped up everything nicely and it made emotional all over again haha. It seems like a continuation of the anime is also in the works, which I'm looking forward to ;w; how did you like the finale? I saw that you gave it a 10, so I'm guessing you were also satisfied with it!

Haha sadly it's not a very cute or special planner, it's just a free one I got from the school I work at! I thought about getting a happiness planner at the beginning of the year, but they're on the pricier side and I had doubts that I would make full use of it anyways :( we've started distributing free passion planners to students at my workplace though, and I've been thinking of taking one for myself too since they're quite nice. Hopefully you're able to get one with a cover next time, but it's a good thing that your current planner is keeping you pretty organized at least! The cute bunny tape sounds adorable too.

Ahh nice! Hope you two continue having fun with FFXIV :) and I'm glad to hear that your daughter has adjusted pretty quickly to her new daycare!! It's great that they serve really nutritious food there, but hopefully it'll be to your daughter's liking or it'll at least grow on her pretty quickly ;v;

Oh man!! 5 copies for rental don't sound like a whole lot if there are many people waiting to nab one D: best of luck, hopefully you're able to get one of them!

I wasn't too familiar with the apricot scrub beforehand, but I'll have to give it a try sometime! Hopefully the eye cream will show more results the longer you use it, or maybe another one would be more effective ;___; I actually tried a caffeine solution for the eye area from The Ordinary last year, but I feel like I got a negative reaction from it so I stopped using it haha. I look forward to your thoughts on the cleansing oil samples if you get around to trying them sometime c: and omg, yes!! The Kiss Me Heroine mascara is amazing, but you'll need to use either their special eye makeup remover or a really strong, oil-based cleanser to completely get it off afterwards haha. That's why I've only used it twice, it's a little difficult to remove ;n; and ooh, I'll have to check out Majolica Majorca sometime! I love Dolly Wink's dark brown liquid eyeliner, it's not too intense of a shade and it rarely smudges.

Thankfully school hasn't gotten too rough (yet!), but I'm definitely a bit anxious about what's to come :'c I have quite a few non-school related things on my plate until mid-May like a conference, qualifying exams for my program, and work trainings, so I apologize in advance if my replies are a bit slow for the next month or so (like this one was - sorry about that!!) ;___; hopefully I can squeeze in some more retail therapy during that time because I'll need it, and I want to purchase a tan leather jacket, Jo Malone perfume, and a coral/rose-colored lip tint :3

It's so cool that one of your new friends may be officially translating the Wotakoi manga!! I'll be sure to check out those releases once they're out. I've been following the fan scanlations for a couple of years now and I love the manga ;w; the first episode was wonderful and there were even some anime-original bits that fit in quite nicely too. It's always a treat seeing series that feature adults in a work setting - the characters dynamics are great and the comedy is also well-done c: hopefully you enjoy it when you get a chance to check it out! Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

Oh! And I saw that you added Tendou-ke Monogatari to your PTR list earlier :D it's a very charming story and I'm enjoying the setting and the chemistry between the two leads, hopefully you like it when you get around to reading it!!
uni Apr 1, 2018 8:09 PM
I see :( it's great that you were able to get some practice in this time though, at least! I'm sure it'll help in the future when you submit your next round of applications. And aw, I love gel nails! Cherry blossom nail art sounds gorgeous too c': it sounds like the hanami was a blast as well, I'm glad you had such a nice time and were able to squeeze in some down time!!

Oh no! I know how challenging it can be to find time to visit the doctor, especially with a schedule as packed as yours. But hopefully you're able to get everything sorted out and see the doctor soon ;___; a couple of my friends start taking painkillers 24-48h before their cramps start to prep for them, so I'm not sure if that might help relieve them a bit :c feel better!!

Right? It's funny because the building where most of my classes are held in is always warmer than outdoors, while the building I work in is usually cooler because of the AC haha. And awww! Does medicine help at all with your allergies? :<

The CCS manga does seem to have better pacing so far than the anime, and the art is almost exactly the same as the original, so you may like it more! Ahh I hope you're enjoying the Chihayafuru manga. I'm not reading it (cries I still have to finish season 2 of the anime), but from what I've heard, manga readers always seem to be quite torn over its latest developments!! And yes! I was actually planning to mention that in my next comment to you haha. I'm excited for Meiling to show up in the anime next week c: I hope she can nudge Sakura and Syaoran's relationship a little further along. And I hope you're able to catch up on Violet Evergarden soon!! As you mentioned before, some of the episodes can be a bit slow, but others have definitely gotten me emotional. Episode 10 in particular hit quite close to home for me. I'm a little worried about the ending though, and I hope it doesn't focus too much on wartime activities! Although I understand that the topic still needs some resolution, especially on Violet's behalf ;o;

Designating each night for a specific thing sounds like a good idea! And oh gosh, I totally feel you there. At the beginning of my winter quarter, I diligently wrote down all of my deadlines, but I never even looked at my planner again after my 2nd or 3rd week of classes haha. Fortunately I didn't miss anything though! I've actually never been this negligent about using a planner before, so I'm not sure what went wrong ;___; hopefully I can be more diligent about it this quarter! Were you able to find time to watch Unfortunate Events with your hubby? Hopefully you two have a great time when you get a chance to :D

Yes!! There's actually an upcoming chapter of Yona that I'm eager to see your reaction to hehe. I hope I'm not hyping you up for it too much though! It's been fulfilling watching Yona gain so many allies and friends along the way. I also wonder if we're headed towards another sort of big showdown in the near future, because I really can't predict how the story will unravel at this point! I'm curious about what role Soowon will play in all of this too. So many questions! Looking forward to your thoughts when you rent volume 26 next week c:

Oh man! I still can't believe they stop manga mid-volume haha. That's such a tease D: hopefully you can save up your Line points and buy Generation Witch and Ragtonia soon!!

Ohh! How do you like the DHC products you've been using? I've heard a lot about their cleansing oil, but I didn't have the best experience with micellar water in the past, so I'm a bit wary to try it out :c I also use a lot of Korean skincare products, but for J-Beauty I love Hada Labo and Kikumasamune! I also use Kiss Me Heroine (which is actually the reason I decided to start watching Rose of Versailles haha) and Koji Dolly Wink for makeup. And I see! My aunt dyes her hair by herself fairly often, so I might ask her for help if/when I decide to try it out :3

Thank you!! My spring break seemed to pass by in a flash haha. Not looking forward to going back to school this week :'( but being busy is a blessing in its own way! I had a bit of a stressful work day last Thursday, so some retail therapy afterwards was much-needed ;w; I wasn't able to spend too much time at the mall, but I did manage to buy some new perfume and scented lotion! I always appreciate some nice aromatherapy. And omg! It does sound like you have a lot on your plate at the moment. How did your daughter's first day at her new daycare go? Hopefully everything went smoothly and she liked it!! <3

Edit: I just noticed that you added some spring anime to your ptw list!! I'm watching/planning to watch all of those too, hopefully they deliver :')
uni Mar 24, 2018 3:44 AM
No worries! It sounds like you had a lot on your plate, so I totally understand. And that's true, it does seem like applying to and interviewing for those positions was a great learning experience at least :') I hope you were able to enjoy your birthday in spite of the busyness! And have fun watching Black Panther with your hubby next month!! I haven't watched it yet either. I also really want to watch A Wrinkle in Time since I loved the book when I was younger. So many interesting movies lately, maybe I should finally invest in MoviePass haha.

Oh no!! Pats you, I hope it's a minor sprain that heals quickly! I don't get cramps, but from what I've heard they sound super super unpleasant ;___; hopefully you're able to find comfort in some painkillers and a hot water bottle. And omg, right! I feel like it always strikes at the worst time. I started mine last weekend, right before the start of my finals week and while I was staying over at a friend's place for a couple days to work on things together. Thankfully she had everything I needed though haha. Get well soon! ♡

Omg! That does sound really beautiful. Hopefully you're able to take pictures of the blooming cherry trees another time :') and oh man, the weather here is still all over the place haha. Ever since fall started, we've been constantly rotating between a couple weeks in the high 70s/low 80s followed by a couple weeks in the high 50s/low 60s sprinkled with some rain, and then back to warm weather. It's so unpredictable! Sometimes I feel like I need to dress for three different types of weather in the same day.

I actually haven't had a chance to do any baking yet! But there's a cheesecake recipe I'm quite fond of, and I think it's been years since I last touched it. Maybe I can give it another try to see if my baking skills are still up to par haha. And yum, blueberry muffins sound delicious :9

I know what you mean about CCS! It's gotten a bit better in terms of foreshadowing and plot-heavy elements being incorporated, but otherwise the pacing and episode structures are basically the same :c I agree that the card captures have been a bit underwhelming so far as well. I think I just get too happy to see all of the characters again each week haha. Oh, and I finally caught up to the manga, but I still have way more questions than answers at this point! I wonder if the anime will have an original ending, or if CLAMP will bring in any TRC-esque plot twists. The middle initial in Kaito's name also has me a little suspicious o:

I'm finally starting to catch up on anime I fell behind on, including Violet Evergarden, but I accidentally took a 2-hour nap less than 15 minutes into episode 4 haha. I think that was because of sleep deprivation though, because I still enjoyed the episode and KyoAni's visuals have been delivering as always! I'm looking forward to watching more. I've heard the latest episodes especially pack a punch, so I'll have to brace myself!

Seriously! It's nearly impossible to stay on top of everything, and it's always a bummer when you have to sacrifice something you're enjoying </3 hopefully you can make time to play more games soon!! I should really check out the An Unfortunate Series of Events TV show since I was a big fan of the books.

I'm glad to hear that! I'll definitely have to check out the drama sometime. Joou no Hana sounds really interesting and I'm always up for a good historical series, so I added it to my ptr list :) parallels to Yona are always welcome too. Thanks for the rec! Hopefully you enjoy Generation Witch, it does sound and look super cute!

And wow!! Reaching your book goal in the first quarter of the year is really impressive haha. Maybe you can make a mid-year adjustment to it so you can continue working towards an even higher goal!

Oh no! I use a lot of Japanese skincare products and I'm quite fond of them because they tend to be gentle and bouncy, so it's a shame that your shampoo isn't like that :( importing shampoo sounds like a good idea! Btw, do you usually color your hair by yourself at home? I always get it done at a beauty salon because I'm nervous about doing it myself, but a lot of my friends have had really good results and experiences doing it at home. Plus, going to a salon can be so time-consuming, not to mention very very expensive, especially including a tip ;A;

Not yet, actually! I haven't had much time to properly go shopping in a while because of school, but I'm looking forward to some retail therapy now that I'm officially on my spring break c: there are a few things I've been eyeing, like perfume, a tan/beige-colored leather jacket, a pair of knee-high boots, some lipstick and nail polish... the list goes on and on! My wish list has expanded so much that I'll need to pace myself so I don't splurge, hehe.
uni Mar 22, 2018 6:50 PM
Since it should already be the 23rd over there — HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Wishing you a wonderful day and year ahead! I know the past few weeks have been especially hectic for you, but hopefully you'll be able to relax and treat yourself today. Maybe someone can take care of your daughter tonight so you can go on a date night with your husband :')

Take it easy, and take care!! <3

uni Mar 10, 2018 9:37 PM
I'm finally replying back to your comment after telling you I would the past few weekends ;___; thanks for your patience!! ♥ I hope you've been enjoying your weekend so far.

I know what you mean! And it's Daylight Savings Time here in just a few hours actually ;w; we're going an hour forward, which will be a shame to lose an hour of sleep, but I'm looking forward to longer daytime! It's always disappointing when I get out of work or class and the sun has already set haha.

Ooh nice!! That's very reassuring to hear. Some of my friends and family members have been asking me to bake some things for them again, so I might give that another try soon. And that def makes sense about other meal services having Japanized meals! Paprika does sound awesome :') I'll look into some free ones in English for sure when I start seriously cooking.

Omg, I feel you there! I'm only a couple weeks away from finishing my winter quarter, but I still haven't started or even looked into yoga yet haha. At the very least, I usually walk a couple miles each day during the week, which is better than nothing I guess ;u; hopefully it's warmed up a bit over there and you're (we're!) able to find inspiration again haha. I'm not entirely sure how Sweatcoin works, but I've heard that the rewards are usually fitness-related services/products, gift cards/vouchers, and some cheap tech.

Oh no! I didn't realize you need a VPN to access Crunchyroll in Japan :'c hopefully that isn't too much of a hassle and you're able to catch up on CCS soon! It's still pretty episodic, but an overarching plot is starting to form now and there are lots of throwbacks/nostalgic moments, which are super nice haha. How have you been liking Violet Evergarden? I've heard that the middle episodes (I think it was 4 or 5, or maybe both?) are a bit slow, but it really picks up during the second half ;u; I can't wait to catch up during my spring break in two weeks! And that's a really interesting theory about her possibly having autism. I wonder if the series will ever explicitly mention or address that at any point.

Ahh I'll be on the lookout for those series!! They all sound very promising :') I'm glad you were able to finally go to Tsutaya. I've also been noticing a lot of the manga you recommended to me in the past, like Shitsuji-tachi no Chinmoku and Frau Faust, getting updates recently, which is really exciting. I'm trying not to start too many new manga for now because I think I already have too much on my plate, but I look forward to checking out the ones you mentioned when I'm looking for a fresh batch of manga! I also can't wait to hear your thoughts on the latest Yona chapters when you're able to get v25. So many fun developments c:

How have you been liking Princess Jellyfish? Hopefully you're still enjoying it just as much as you have been! What you're saying makes me even more curious to check it out now haha. And omg, how funny that he tried to convince the ladies that he's like Oscar!!

Haha, I agree. I don't think you're being overly sensitive at all! Usaida's negligence is also used as a way to drive the story forward, because it gives the kids an excuse to wander off and do cute things ;n; although I definitely don't think that necessarily makes it okay.

Awww, what you said about Mitsuyokon does sound quite promising! Thanks for your input :)

Since I discussed my hair woes with you last time, I'm at a crossroads again about what I want to do with it now that it's gotten pretty long ;w; even though my tips are still light from when I dyed it ombre over a year ago (my coworker even asked me this week if I dyed my hair recently haha), I'm not sure if I want to let my hair go back to its natural color or maybe dye it chestnut brown-ish. I'm also debating about the length :o I tried to layer my hair by myself at home a couple months ago, and I unintentionally ended up with a mild version of the hime cut LOL. I was worried it would turn out bad, but thankfully I've actually been kinda liking it! Are you planning to do anything to your hair sometime? :')

Also! Do you ever buy clothes for your hubby, or does he usually buy his own? I took my nephew shopping a couple weeks ago, and I've also been thinking of buying my dad clothes soon since he doesn't really like shopping or going to the mall haha. But I'm not too knowledgeable about men's clothing, so I've been wondering what would be a good starting point :o or maybe I should just go with my gut/what I think looks nice and comfortable yet affordable, and not overthink it!
freeaswind Feb 23, 2018 12:33 PM
ok
its sad movie but the ending was good
its cultures different....
freeaswind Feb 18, 2018 5:47 AM
thats good you liked it
when you gave it 10,means that it has not any weakness :D
Koe no Katachi is also good film but i strongly disagree with their act! i just wonder that why other students are silent and no reaction when they done this to her!
freeaswind Feb 13, 2018 1:46 AM
you have seen Kimi no Na wa and gave it 10 score! it is really nice.... do you agree that the ending is weak?
freeaswind Feb 5, 2018 7:06 PM
never mind! im nice to meet you too and again thank you:)
freeaswind Jan 31, 2018 4:48 PM
hello
thanks for accepting:)
uni Jan 28, 2018 8:46 PM
That's very true :') and I'm glad to hear that - the snowfall must've been quite pretty! It got chilly here for a bit, and then the weather returned to a high in the 80s again this week haha. It still doesn't really feel like winter over here!

I feel you there! Hopefully I can step up my cooking skills like you and make it a higher priority in my life sometime. It would be nice if there were more meal prep services in Japan that offered a variety of cuisines! Paprika sounds super convenient and handy, especially with how it creates a grocery list for you :o I could definitely benefit from that.

Hopefully you feel better soon and can resume your old activities again!! And oh man! The yoga... hasn't been going T__T and it's totally my fault haha. One of my classmates takes an early evening yoga class to keep her preoccupied while she waits out rush hour traffic, and since I usually do the same, I'm thinking of taking it with her. I need a little more external motivation outside of just watching YouTube videos, it seems! I've also heard about an app called Sweatcoin, which apparently gives you rewards for the amount of steps and activity you complete c: sounds pretty neat!

Yay!! Sounds like a plan :) and thank you for the rec about Sister and Vampire - I'll def keep an eye out for it! Hopefully it sees the light of day for English readers someday.

Ahh I see! That does make sense. There are a lot of after school programs in South Korea too, some of which don't end until closer to midnight :o they can be quite intense!

Ohh nice!! Having only 40% left is really impressive :D hopefully you're able to continue chipping away at the first chapter this week! And that's a good question about trying to figure out what else to send. Whenever I submit manuscripts for academic journals, they usually ask for a cover letter, which is basically just a short paragraph or so introducing myself/co-authors haha. It's pretty much what you would write in an introductory email anyways and it always felt rather redundant, but I guess it's a part of the formal process!

That's true ;__; I wonder if Meiling will just be an afterthought, mentioned in passing by characters every now and then :c hopefully we're proven wrong and she makes a cameo eventually. And yes, the new character shows up this week!! She's quite adorable.

YES! Seto Koji is a major cutie haha. I was quite excited when I first heard that he got cast in Princess Jellyfish! Kuranosuke must be a tough character to get right, but I can picture him pulling off the role well since he's a pretty versatile actor. Hopefully the upcoming episodes continue to be just as enjoyable :')

I agree! I went into Violet Evergarden not knowing anything about it or watching the promo videos, so I expected it to be a little heavier on the fantasy aspect. I'm pleasantly surprised by how subdued and slow paced the anime has been so far c: hopefully the visuals continue to deliver, but I'm not too worried about that since KyoAni is at the helm!

I'm sorry to hear that Gakuen Babysitters didn't work out for you! I do understand where you're coming from. I've read similar criticisms of it in the past, and the series requires some suspension of disbelief at times, and it can be quite lax with certain details as well. I'm sure that must be tough to sit through, especially since you're raising your own little one right now ;n; thankfully though, Usaida (the daycare teacher) does have his license at least haha. I'm glad you decided to give the manga a shot though! And at least you realized early on that it wasn't for you. Hopefully the next series you pick up will be a much better experience! :)

Edit: I was browsing shoujo/josei manga and noticed that you submitted the summary for Mitsuyokon: Tsukumogami no Yomegoryou! How did you like it? :o
uni Jan 22, 2018 4:34 PM
I totally agree! I know a lot of people aren't completely sold on Apple products, but I've had a much better experience with my Macbook compared to any of the PCs I've owned in the past haha. Even if I have to save up a bit, I'm hoping to get another Macbook when it comes time for me to part with my current one c': awww, how is your hubby feeling now? Hopefully he's well enough to not need to take medicine anymore! And nooo! It seems like you were just sick not that long ago as well ;__; I hope you feel better soon and that you're almost, if not fully, recovered!! ♡

How convenient! I really want to get more into meal prepping at the start of the week, but I always end up just sticking a TV dinner into my lunch bag the night before to heat up later haha. I'm sure I'll properly get to it... eventually! I've never ordered groceries online before, but it's neat that you're able to do that! Do they have any handy meal delivery services over there? I usually use Munchery or Blue Apron when I'm feeling especially lazy c:

Yay!! Congrats on starting to track your calories again :) that's an impressive feat! I'm sure that even just being more aware of what you eat can make a big difference in your eating habits in the long run.

That sounds like a plan :') even though Usotsuki Rhetoric is more of a historical/mystery story at its core, it can also be quite lighthearted at points with plenty of comedic moments and quirky characters, so hopefully it won't feel like too much of a heavy read. I hope you enjoy it when you do get around to starting it! <3

Yes! MoviePass is super affordable since one of its biggest draws is that it doesn't take much to make up for the subscription cost :) oh man! I hadn't realized that babysitters weren't really a thing in Japan :c I can only imagine how tricky that must be to work around. What do most parents do about after hours childcare?

That sounds like a great idea! Best of luck with approaching publishers about getting the LN you worked on licensed. I'm not too familiar with the process, but hopefully the series being over 30 volumes won't deter publishers and there will be interest in it! I hope you're feeling well enough now to be able to resume revisions soon. It's been such a hectic time for you, even starting from before the holidays ;__;

Ah, gotcha! I liked Meiling too and it was fun to see how she switched up the character dynamics a bit. It's def reassuring that she was at least acknowledged in the new series and hasn't been completely written off or anything ;v; based on the episode preview, it does look like the new girl will be making her first appearance next week! :)

Ohh nice!! I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying Princess Jellyfish so far. It's always funny when you catch an actor/actress playing a completely different role than their last one haha. I'm not too familiar with Tsukimi's actress, but it's great that she seems to be doing a good job! Btw, what are your thoughts on Kuranosuke's actor? I've watched Seto Koji in a few things before, so I'm quite curious about how he's pulling off a character as interesting and outgoing as Kuranosuke is ;v; hopefully the drama will be a complete adaptation of the manga! That would be awesome. And I hope you continue to enjoy it!

I saw that you watched Violet Evergarden! How do you like it so far? :) and yes, Gakuen Babysitters is definitely meeting my expectations! It's been quite loyal to the manga and chock full of heartwarming moments. One of the highlights of my Sundays for sure c':
uni Jan 14, 2018 12:08 AM
Oh noooo! It's so frustrating when that happens ;___; hopefully it didn't take you too long to rewrite your message! I have a Macbook that's in its 7th year now and still hanging in there, but I should probably replace it in a year or so as well :c hopefully your hubby can reinstall Windows 10 so your computer stops crashing!

Using a recipe collection app sounds like a really smart and handy idea! It's great to have a place where you gather all of your go-to recipes and modifications :)

Yes!! You can do it! ♥

Ahh I see, that definitely makes sense. And omg, how exciting that Usotsuki Rhetoric may have been there! Hopefully you have a chance to check it out sometime ;u;

That really is quite soon! And oh man, I feel you there ;n; movie tickets are pretty expensive here too, so I usually try going during the mornings or when there are special deals. It's a good thing that the popcorn was cheap, at least! MoviePass is basically a subscription service where you pay $9.95 a month and you can see up to one movie everyday in the theaters, without any blackout dates. Some of my friends use it and think it's worthwhile, but I'm not sure it would be enough motivation for me to go to the theaters more often haha.

It really is hard to find time for all of our hobbies!! And ooh, learning about how LNs are licensed sounds pretty interesting! Are you thinking of translating LNs sometime in the future as well? That would be really cool :o

That's a good question! I'm actually not sure how many volumes are out in Japan, but there are only 13 chapters translated so far. Hopefully the manga is a bit further ahead in Japan! And how interesting, I had no idea about a novelization version of the Clear Card arc :o it doesn't look like there's much info about it yet, so I'm very curious about it too. It sounds like the anime will be keeping some original content, such as the 52 cards and Meiling's existence, so it'll be exciting to see if the anime diverges a bit again from the manga this time around! That could be really interesting.

Ahh nice!! Please do keep me updated on your thoughts on Gakuen Babysitters when you get around to starting it :') I would love to know! It's a very, very cute and heartwarming series. The first episode of Violet Evergarden was pretty interesting! I'm not too invested in the characters quite yet, but the series just started so I'm sure there will be plenty of time for that. The story seems promising so far, and I like how it's focusing on more mature themes at the moment. The visuals are nice too, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the anime continues to deliver!

Omg, I can only imagine! Whenever I look for new baking recipes, it always takes a bunch of trial and error + combining bits and pieces of various recipes to get an end result I'm satisfied with. It really is such a process! The experimenting is both the fun and tiring part of cooking haha.

I'm so glad to hear that!! Tracking must be quite tedious, but I've heard that it becomes a habit after you've been doing it for a while. Hopefully that happens to you, and it turns into a routine once you start up again!

Wow, an average of 2-3 manga per day still sounds like quite a bit! Scanlation releases can be rather sporadic, but I think I typically get no more than a few or so new chapters each week. Hopefully you enjoy those series if you get around to reading them :')

I totally forgot about Rogue One! Man, that completely slipped my mind haha. No wonder it felt like TFA aired a while ago. I didn't know there was going to be a young Han Solo movie at all, so that's really exciting to hear! It sounds like we'll be getting quite a few Star Wars movies in back-to-back years. I used to go to the movie theater every week when I was younger, but nowadays I rarely go -cries- the only two movies I watched in theaters last year were La La Land and Beauty and the Beast haha. I've been hearing a lot about MoviePass lately though, and I'm thinking of giving it a try sometime c: maybe it'll be the push I need to go to the theaters more often! A young Princess Leia movie really would be wonderful.

That's true! And episode 1 helps set the tone for the rest of the series, so you should be able to tell pretty early on whether or not you'll like it :') hopefully you enjoy it if you do decide to give it a try sometime! I haven't watched much TV in a while either ;___; I wanted to catch up on Black Mirror over my break, but I ended up watching a bunch of kdramas instead haha.

Yes!!! It was so beautiful! It was everything I could've asked for and more. I know the premiere wasn't perfect to everyone, which I understand and agree with, but I'm too enamored by CCS that it can do almost no wrong in my eyes haha. And I totally agree about the music and jokes! Hearing the original OST was such a treat. The manga isn't too far ahead actually, and I'm eagerly awaiting more chapters because I still have many more questions than answers at this point ;v; but with 22 episodes, I'm sure the anime will pass where the manga is right now!

I haven't watched Record of Grancrest Wars and I'm actually not too familiar with Record of Lodoss Wars either, but I would be interested in your thoughts if you do decide to watch it sometime! So far the only anime that have caught my eye are CCS and Gakuen Babysitters, but I'm still waiting for the other half of my ptw winter shows to air, so hopefully there will be some gems and sleeper hits among them ;v; I'll let you know if anything else grabs my attention! Are there any other anime you were thinking of watching this season?
