My thread wasn't about transgenders at all lol. It was about giving people roles/treating them differently in life based on the sex/race they are born with. You know how traditionalists say it's biological for women to not make a career, or for men to not be house husbands. I don't think that has anything to do with biology. It is the environment that made this a social cultural thing but there is no scientific proof that sex dictates what you should do in life, what would fit psychologically.

I made the mistake to put gender/race in my first sentence. So maybe that's why you thought it was about transgenders. And the Felix picture but that was a joke on how there actually have been cases of abandoned children brought up by cats.

Transgenders usually also have a problem with the body they are born with so it's hard to say how much it is about sex vs gender (biological vs environment). Though I have spoken to some who say they wouldn't want to be born as the opposite sex, usually transgender women who like being seen as exotic by men because they pass, like REALLY pass. So they get more attention than the average cis woman.

Although I have quoted Orwell on occasion, I don't recall ever using a quote of his as my signature. As far as his socialist leanings go. I think it made a lot of sense for the time he lived in given that he lived through an era when relentless industrialization and hyper-capitalism was crushing the soul of the European people. That being said, I think it is very clear from Orwell's books that he was trying to warn people about the extreme left and if he were alive today he would certainly see similarities between the Democrat Party's ideology and the INGSOC party from 1984.

I will also point out that I strongly support the ideology of Fidesz from Hungary which has some socialist characteristics so I don't oppose something just because it is socialism. I oppose policies that are bad, many of which happen to be socialist. An example of a good socialist policy for example would be a program that sets up every person among the urban poor with a job, government or non-government, and sets all public housing facilities to a reasonable rent price that any person working full time, even at minimum wage, can pay. A bad socialist policy would be, well, the ones we currently have lol.
