I guess I am morbid, so I look for darker animes; however, I love most animes that provide a happy ending so I am left confused as to what I actually enjoy.

My reviews for anime genres.
Action: No rest means story progression right?
Adventure: Promising show goal, but like every anime, ONE FILLER EPISODE.
Cars: Can't say I've watched an anime with racing in it.
Cartoon: What is this? Is it an anime that's purposely made to look like a western cartoon?
Comedy: They're alright, not much happens in these but that just might be my experience with this genre.
Dementia: Hitting the shrooms.
Demons: Usually great, oh who am I kidding, I watch it for the hot demon girls.
Drama: Makes the plot stressful/frustrating which is great.
Dub: I prefer subs because the American voice acting makes me wince.
Ecchi: Curse you steam, sun rays, and convenient censorship. Overall, decent I am yet to find one with a good story (and what I mean by that is the MC gets with one of the girls and does "stuff" ( ͡☉ ͜ʖ ͡☉) )
Fantasy: Fun genre, love the diversity of monsters and plots. "Plots"
Game: I think "no game no life" is the only game anime I've watched.
Harem: Too many girls, and it's hard to pick best girl every now then. Decent, but not too much happens.
Historical: Zzzzzz
Horror: Spooks and gore. I really love these especially for the violence and darkness involved.
Josei: I've rarely watched any of these. Great if you need to sleep though.
Kids: Never in my life.
Magic: These are great, magic rings in every one of these animes.
Martial Arts: I love the animation of these, fighting styles are fun to watch.
Mecha: Nah
Military: Meh, not really.
Movie: Sure I'll watch them every now and then.
Music: Not my type of anime, boring episodes. I'll make an exception for K-on tho.
Mystery: Leaves you guessing, most of the time great plots.
OVA: Special episodes for an anime that may or may not have ties to the series. What's not to like?
Parody: Usually funny, nothing else.
Police: Meh, it's cool I guess.
Psychological: (Shrooms: part 2) AWWWW YEAH, HERE WE GO!
Romance: Definitely a favorite, can't go wrong with these, they can leave you really happy or extremely depressed.
Samurai: They are alright since every kid in some way or another wields a katana in basically every anime.
School: Every school anime I've watched so far leaves me happy at the ending. However, most of the time they don't have much of a point.
Sci-Fi: Lasers and explosions. Cool.
Seinen: Quality animes.
Shoujo: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Shounen: Yeah I know, these aren't really considered "genres".
Slice of Life: These get to me, no joke, another level man.
Space: Space = GUNDAMS
Sports: Pretty good, and I can honestly say I'm shocked I've enjoyed most sport animes.
Super Power: One punch man is the only one I can think of. So yeah, it's good.
Supernatural: Cool I guess, I haven't seen too many.
Thriller: Good action, and it's exciting.
Vampire: Yeah, nah.
Yuri: THIS IS THE VERY PINNACLE OF ENLIGHTENMENT, I'M TALKING FULL ON BLAST UP YOUR A**. SO FAST, LESBO FANTASM, GIRL ON GIRLGASM, PUCKER UP, D-CUP, VAGINA BUMP, DOKI DOKI SPIT SWAP, ROLLER COASTER YOUR C*CK CAN'T EVEN HANDLE SON. SELL YOUR SOUL TO THE YURI GOD'S MOTHER F*CKER, NO TURNING BACK.
