I want to watch Rainbow Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin. It looks interesting.

I'm not very fond of the actual series, I prefer old school anime. I reckon the only thing I really plan to watch is the last season of Kingdom.

Ah yea I figured you watched French subs. I will flip flop between English sub or dub, but mostly dub for me since it’s easier for me to see what’s going on on screen with dub. But, most of the time, the voice acting for sub is more accurate to a character and gives off intent so I can see the merit. I suppose in a situation, like you’re in, where the dub is just so bad that the sub seems to be the only option, then I understand sticking to subs. But if the French dub was good, do you think you’d prefer to watch it that way? Sorry I’m just curious.

That island sounds pretty cool actually, I knew Australia or New Zealand was either controlled by Britain or something, but had no clue the French had islands so far south. That’s wild! Do you miss being mainland? Is the island isolated or is it pretty populated? You learn something new everyday!

What series have you been into recently? Have you watched any of winter 2022?

I really couldn't agree with you more. That's really a good way of putting it: older anime has soul, while newer has complex features that lend to the overall viewing. That's kind of how I feel about Cowboy Bebop, it will take me a little bit to get used to the older design, but I'm confident the story and characters will more than make up for it.

But yea I get watching on Downloadable sites, I probably would do the same if my phone could connect to my TV. Illegal sites play there role as well in the community, a lot of series are unavailable in many countries (like you said with France), so how else are you supposed to watch the series? And in many cases, people watching those sites go on to buy a series' figure or box set. So I don't see any issues lol.

I assumed you'd already seen at least kabaneri or tanya the evil (I'm looking forward to season 2 as well). Unfortunately couldn't check your list while I was replying. I'll see if there's any others though.

Do you watch English/French dubs or subs? A little of both? I'm curious if the dubs are difficult to come across, or if there are even very many French dubs at all. You appear to speak English well though so maybe you don't watch it in French period.

I'm in the US but have been to Paris once before, it was gorgeous. I also have a few friends that live in the country, South France I think, I'll have to ask them where exactly.

And yes, the original series was way better in my opinion. Honestly I don't understand the people saying Evangelion finally it has an ending. End of Evangelion was a great ending, I'm not sure what wasn't understood. Even the ending of the series could be seen as an ending lol (The human instrumentality project or whatever it was called).

It's indeed a nice-looking list tho. I like black and the design is simple yet elegant. Not to mention it doesn't seem to take long to load and stuff.
