Ohayo!
My username is Chihiro Ogino, and as of those who have ever heard of it, I AM THE BIGGEST SPIRITED AWAY FAN, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is an amazing anime film, here is a description for you:
On the way to their new home, 10-year old Chihiro Ogino’s family stumbles upon a deserted theme park. Intrigued, the family investigates the park, though unbeknown to them, it is secretly inhabited by spirits who sleep by day and appear at night. When Chihiro’s mother and father eat food from a restaurant in the street, angry spirits turns them into pigs. Furthermore, a wide sea has appeared between the spirit world and the human one, trapping Chihiro, the sole human, in a land of spirits. Luckily for her though, a mysterious boy named Haku appears, claiming to know her from the past. Under his instructions, Chihiro secures a job in the bathhouse where Haku works. With only her courage and some new found friends to aid her, Chihiro embarks on a journey to turn her parents back to their original forms and return home.
I strongly reccomend that you watch it right away, or put it onto your anime list so that you don't forget :) Ja mata:)
P.s.I speak Jpanese (sort of) if you want to know anything, comment on my profile :)

It is indeed a great movie!
It also has a great message, as Chihiro has to overcome her fear of moving away from home and then stumbles into this spectacular fantasy land, it's a symbol for how we have to face our challenges and have to be courageous, which she then is. Growing up means having to face our fears and overcome them, but that's part of life and there always is a way out.
I see you have Dennou Coil and Gake no Ue no Ponyo on your "Plan to Watch" List.
I liked both of them very much, be warned though as Dennou Coil turns a little bit more serious and darker half way through, might get a little creepy :)
