Welcome to Hotaru's Profile! I guess what inspired me to join M.A.L was because of the large variety of members, and the fact that it works really well. I was introduced to the website after a year of being a HUGE Naruto fan. Alice (a friend who also loves anime.) introduced me to the website saying she found it while looking up the (somewhat new..) show Date a Live. She already had a profile set up, So she showed me the things that you could do on here. I was really impressed, and I started praising her. But then I figured out she had this profile for two months.. So I ended up whacking her in the head saying, "Why didn't you show me this website sooner?" Anyway, my name is Hotaru. I took that name because of it's meaning 'Firefly.' I've always really, really loved fireflies. There pretty at night, and I love looking up at the stars when there flying around. I enjoy to write, draw, and read. ♥ I often spend most of my time with it. I don't except random friend requests, because of the fact that people like to add you just to put you down. If you really would like to add me then just leave me a comment, and as time passes I might add you to my friend list. Please don't write rude things in my comments section. Well like I said, I doubt anyone would do that, but if you're sensitive to things like that, then you should stay away from the Casual & Anime discussion sub-forums lol. There are lots of meanies and flamers who post in there, most people get used to it, but you seem like you'd hate it.

We have a few people with English as a second language, and I didn't know if that was the case and you were unaware. Although people will get mad at you for putting unnecessary formatting in your posts, like centering everything in italics in a different color. There's a guy who puts all his posts in bold for some reason, and people get all over him for it.
I really don't think you needed to take such precautions; people don't just go around posting abusive comments on random people's profiles, at least I don't think so. Did you experience something like that in the past?
