My Rating System:

10/10 - Masterpiece: Nearly perfect in every aspect of its execution, extremely coherent, and very memorable. Resonates with me on a personal level.

9/10 - Great: Still considered to be some of my favorites, however they may have a few, but hardly noticeable, shortcomings that prohibit me from awarding it a 10.

8/10 - Very good: Very well crafted and executed, but some flaws remain which are quite noticeable.

7/10 - Good: Contains a number of flaws that are somewhat difficult to ignore, but nonetheless, are good in their own respects.

6/10 - Fine: Nothing really stands out besides one or two minor things. Easily overlooked and forgotten.

5/10 - Average: Average in all aspects, probably has some issues, but it's OK to a certain level.

4/10 - Bad: Lacks any sort of meaningful structure or appeal, but still watchable to a certain degree.

3/10 -Very Bad: Riddled with lots of flaws, mistakes, and doesn't have any sort of perceivable depth or redeemable quality.

2/10 - Horrible: Has very little to offer...almost none. Holds very little value to me as a piece of art or entertainment.

1/10 - Appalling: No redeeming qualities at all and is generally...well...appalling.

I try to look at all the aspects that an anime or manga has to offer before rating it. It's potential, it's execution, the score, it's art form, plot holes, sub-plots, side characters, main characters, sceneries, and many more. I try to weigh it's pros and cons before giving a rating. It's purely my opinion of the anime/manga and I will not be forcing my own opinion down your throat so please respect my ratings as well.
