i'm a mega anime and manga junkie. but i tend to read manga much, much more than watch anime.
i love manga that have beautiful and/or unique art (tons of admiration for the manga artists who have carved out a very distinct style that they can truly call their own), that are very emotional (usually this means the manga that make me cry like a baby or make my heart literally pain or make me want to holler out my window, you know, manga that really makes you feel something), and manga that have interesting, one-of-a-kind plots.
whether this is unfortunate or not, i tend to drop manga and put anime on-hold very easily. this is especially the case for ongoing series so i try to read and watch stuff that has already been finished, and completely scanlated.
