As a somewhat anti-social closet weeb I generally avoided the clubs and forums of MAL but at this point I've been on the site for a bit, though it has been a while since I last had anything asides from the flag counter in this section.

As you can probably see my taste in anime isn't exactly high-class and my taste in manga is worse. All I can is that I'm a connoisseur of isekai trash. I think I kinda just enjoy the more chill episodic style of most Isekai stories plus I find the small changes in world building and magic systems and what-not pretty interesting too. At some point I might make a stack of Isekai I feel is worth checking out.

Not that I think anyone cares but might as well explain the lack of scores. At one point I did score most of the stuff I consumed, but after going over my watched anime one night with some mates in a Discord call it became apparent my scores were all over the place. I think the main reason was a lack of real focus or weight in my scoring, there were shows I enjoyed but were lacking in technical aspects while others the complete inverse and I couldn't work out how I should rate them. Thus I took the coward's way out and nuked my scores.

At some point I would like to mark things with simple tags based around whether I enjoyed the anime or manga for what it is and whether I would recommend it to someone else. Though that sounds like an awful lot of effort, so there's a fair chance it won't happen.
