My reviews and ratings are predicated on a knowledge of subjectivity/objectivity in art. My rating system is not wholly consistent and usually it will be best to refer to a review I've written on the anime/manga in question. If there isn't a review then ask me about whatever you are curious about.
Ys and Divers by Joanna Newsom, Have You In My Wilderness by Julia Holter, The Kick Inside/Hounds of Love/Never for Ever by Kate Bush, Twisted Crystal/GT Ultra by Guerilla Toss, Kimono In My House by Sparks, I Love You Honeybear by Father John Misty, The Queen is Dead by The Smiths, Blue by Joni Mitchell, West of Eden by HMLTD and the first 3 Kyraru Pamyu Pamyu albums etc...
Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2, League of Legends, Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, Pillars of Eternity, CIV V, Titans Quest, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance etc...
Wes Anderson generally, Anomalisa, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Dogtooth, Oldboy, Misery. American Psycho, Lost in Translation etc...
"In Beastars absurdity is where a lot of its character and pleasure comes from. If you spend too much time thinking about possible associations between the world of Beastars and our own, you are going to be sorely deprived. The creator of Beastars is fantastic at sub-narratives, character interaction, and broad aesthetics"
I really liked a lot of the short stories in beastars where the author would create really creative ways to show off animals
Hello, buddy! I hope you're well. Thanks ever so much for the friend request; along with the compliment. I appreciate how despite our clear difference in taste, you're still more than willing to be friends with me. I do really enjoy seeing people express different prospects on Anime, so, I'm glad to have you aboard my friends' list.
Message me anytime, buddy, and about anything at all. Enjoy your night, friend-o.
Hi, could you review Planetary Human? It's a webtoon I've been working on and I want to hear your opinion of it. Whether it's negative or positive, I wish to see a fair assessment on this webtoon. Thanks in advance.
I just recently started and finished, "Sukitte Ii na yo." I rarely look at reviews on MAL, but i just saw your 2/10 of the show. I gave it the same score! I had a lot more issues with the show, but I agree with your review and some of your "jokes" in your review was entertaining.
I'm not an expert on music, Beethoven was just an easy example and the reason why I haven't explain my thoughts on Evangelion or Lain, it's because I'm saving them for later.
I would say you have quite different tastes from mine so it's not the easiest task you gave me there :D, but I will try.
If you like sports anime but with somewhat more serious or interesting approach Ping Pong the Animation, One Outs or Hajime no Ippo were three shows i liked quite a bit.
I see you also have Durarara!! in your plan to watch list, for some reason as a kid a had hard time with the show, but then I rewatched it in college i freaking loved it, the characters are all so lovable in this show (for me having great, likable characters is pretty much everything).
For anime about music two shows that I liked quite a bit were Sakamichi no Apollon and Beck, I also have plans for watching Carole & Tuesday and Nodame Cantabile, both shows seem like something I will like, maybe same for you ;D. As for the song you asked me to listen, I do think I heard a part of it before, but never listen the whole of it, it's an interesting song, but in the versions I listened it felt that the melody of the song was a bit too laud in the contrast of the singer, and while I do usually like female vocals the pitch of the voice was a bit too much for me ;D.
For some mystery/supernatural you could try out Jigoku Shoujo or Mononoke, Jigoku Shoujo i watched as I kid and I do remember it being interesting to watch, but it's quite a slow show and as for Mononoke, well it's just weird, after every episode you need some extra time to process the stuff that happened and what it meant :D.
And as for romance / comedy / drama suggestions, well I pretty much have nothing, i rarely ever watch them and the ones I did would be even more mainstream suggestions then the ones before these XD, but i guess i still can offer Violet Evergarden, dunno why, but it hit me quite hard, I do tend to have a soft heart for people that were just robbed by life and this anime is pretty much all about that, so seeing someone fight that fate was quite heart warming for me. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou was a fun comedy / slice of life show to watch, there is also pretty much a female version of it Asobi Asobase if you like female cast more in your anime.
Some random recommendations would be Dorohedoro, watching then it was just coming out and I freaking loved it, thought it seems it really depends on a person, several of my friends called this anime pretty much complete trash so yea. Ballroom e Youkoso another one i liked quite a bit, sadly it really needs more seasons and it doesn't seem like it will be getting any.
Other then that, not sure what else i could offer that is not completely main stream, heck most of these offers were pretty much it :D, hopefully if you do decide to watch any of these hopefully they will be at least worth a 5 to you XD.
I was really ticked off with the last guy I think my words weren't so polite. Any way to really answer your last question I couldn't tell you I have strong beliefs in the anime community that most people cant relate to.
Team 7 is the most iconic trio with the best dynamic. All of them (except sakura) has been threw some rough shit. Kakashi, there sensei is one of the best senseis in all of anime. Now with JK you have a slightly op mc. A useless bitch that will add nothing to the story and a kinda interesting emo. I like JK and it will definitely be one of the best modern shounen. But when retards like you overrated the anime you will get a situation like Demon Slayer or My hero academia where nobody likes the fanbase and clown on it.
Ok first off you say the trio in jujutsu kaisen is less childish than team 7. No shit. How can you compare the maturity of 3 12 year olds and 3 16 year olds. Just another way a clown like you try to hate on Naruto.

Well, I saw your review in Boy Meets Maria, and I thought you could be a good person to know.
