I've seen a fair bit of romance animes, so its hard to find new ones.

I saw you finished Grimgar, how was it? I thought the first episode was terrible so I dropped it after that but I'm curious how it managed to get an 8. Does it really get that much better? The dialogue and fan service was so bad imo early on I couldn't stomach it. Looking at other shows you gave an 8 I'd say the show must have really won you over or the other shows you gave an 8 just aren't as good as they are to me. For example is hard for me to fathom this show being as good as Guren Lagann, Higurashi or FMA.

I know exactly what you mean. I suppose I'm more inclined than most mood-wise to watch Mushishi, but I understand it's a show best watched when the mood strikes. Here's to hoping that mood hits you and you enjoy it.

Wow, you have seen so much more than me haha. Looking through your list I can see we like a lot of the same stuff, but I might be a bit more critical. The only thing I didn't see on your list that I'd recommend is Mushishi.
