Super Senpai is a term I kind of accidentally came up with in a discussion thread here on MAL(A Link to the Past). It's used to describe a specific type of female anime character. Originally, it was a bit vague, but as time has passed, I have come to a better and more complete understanding of what the term Super Senpai entails.
A Super Senpai has several traits. Some are essential, while others aren't exactly necessary. A True Super Senpai has all of said traits and more. A True Super Senpai is VERY rare to come by, as I've only encountered five of them total in the hundreds of anime series I've viewed.
The traits that have asterisks are necessary for Super Senpai in general. The ones without are the "added bonuses" that I previously mentioned. The traits are as follows:
Voluptuous figure(I.E. Huge breasts**, big butt, etc.)*. Older than the main male character*. Power(This is in regards to both status and strength, which in itself is sometimes in regards to the status and strength of the male main character. Strength in physical prowess, fighting ability, and/or proficiency with weapons. A True Super Senpai ALWAYS has both status and strength.)*. Taller than the main male character*. At least somewhat sadistic. A very unique type of smile(Similar to "smiling with your eyes," but much more. This kind of smile is seemingly caring and warm. The outward ends of the eyes are generally slanted downward during a smile. This is a key trait of a True Super Senpai.).
The five True Super Senpai that I have found are as follows:
In the cases of Kara no Kyoukai and Rebuild of Evangelion, I have opted to list my favorite movie of each series as its representative. Meaning, I view both series as a whole my favorites, but the individual movies I listed are my favorites of each said series. So, the entire Kara no Kyoukai movie series is my second favorite anime and the entire Rebuild of Evangelion movie series is my 4th favorite anime. BAM!
About me.

Recently, I started having trouble enjoying Japanese anime. Unless it's something truly special, it quickly feels boring and predictable. I found myself watching at 1.5x speed or just skipping ahead entirely. So, I decided to give Chinese anime a chance, and now I’m hooked!
I’m currently watching Xian Ni, Swallowed Star, A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality, and Mushen Ji. All of them are top-tier animations focused on cultivation and martial arts. They’re much better suited to my age, with none of the repetitive clichés or other bullshit aimed at teenagers. It’s also a refreshing change since the cultural elements are so different. I can’t recommend them enough!
As for Yapanese, I tried Sakamoto Days, but gave up after just one episode, hahaha. I'm waiting for Re:Zero, DanMachi to finish and binge and I'm watching Solo Leveling every week. It's one of my favorite manwa, so I'm enjoying it a lot.
I can understand, that some people do that, bcs they don´t want to wait for the next episode, when the episode end´s very thrilling, but I can´t wait, when I know that there is a new episode from one of my beloved anime´s and it´s even harder, when it is someting that contiunes with a new season.
Ah, I just finished Eminence in Shadow Season 1, europe got it on netflix this month, had to wait a year for Season 2, I guess. I will watch Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai, but not so fast then ^^
Yeah, I got you ~ Outside of the current tournament, I don't really mind when it is. If you want to give me a heads up when you got a good time in mind, that'll work.
Nice, I will watch it then, too :)
Saikyou no Shienshoku "Wajutsushi" de Aru Ore wa Sekai Saikyou Clan wo Shitagaeru is also savage, had no expectations, but wow.
I saw u watched this: Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai / Let This Grieving Soul Retire. Is it really really good, or just yeah, good, but nothing to much special?
I do no very odd description of the anime. My description was just special. Joke, just honrest.
Ich have a neuro-problem. I can´t talk about blood and the hardest for me of course, I can´t see it. So I don´t watch vampier movies like Marvel´s Morbius or Tokyo Ghoul as example. I know the anime is very hyped, but I´m sure, that I better not watch it.
I just finished the first season now. At the beginning, the constant repetition annoyed me, but I think that was just to build understanding. Later on, it is shortened, he starts at the spawn with new knowledge and everything plays out completely differently, from then on it is really interesting!

It's also better because of spoilers on Instagram and everywhere xD
