oh okay that makes sense, yeah to be honest as an anime-only it hasn't been too bad, it just feels like they dumbed down the plot a little bit, other than that there hasn't been anything jarring or out of place. It's not as exciting as the first season but they're still moving the story forward in a way which doesn't feel rushed or incoherent despite the missing arc.

then again, since I don't read the manga I don't know what I'm missing out on

no I feel you I'm the same way, I'm watching Barakamon right now but it's been on my PTW list since 2014 lol... I've recently gotten better at giving non-action anime more of a chance since I've been making a bit more of an effort to immerse myself in the anime medium properly. I've picked up some of the titles that have been on my PTW list collecting dust haha

ah gotcha, well if you're looking for recs I see that The Tatami Galaxy is on your ptw list so I'd recommend that. I just recently finished it so I guess it's fresh in my mind lmao

yeah it's a pretty high affinity percentage, I think the highest I have with someone is 79.6% but that's also an irl friend.
