A newcomer to the world of Anime. I'm always watching anime from a reviewers perspective, but I am biased towards story/plot. And like all others - I do have my personal favorites ;)
PS. If anyone were curious, I'm the guy on the right ->
About me:
Born in Cape Town, South Africa. Currently working in Dubai, UAE.
I work in IT for Mediclinic.
Besides anime, I love Cricket and Country Music.
I smoke and drink only Jack Daniels and Coke.
The name "Broeksnoek" is Afrikaans for "Trouserfish"
Trigger wasn't 'formerly known as Gainax', get your facts straight.
Trigger is a whole another studio, Gainax still exists and releases anime.
It's just that the director Hiroyuki Imaishi (TTGL, re:cutie honey, Kill la Kill are among his creations) left Gainax and founded Trigger.
Anyway, saying they should burn in hell is just uncalled for :(
That's fair enough mate. I was asking more about your opinion on how oil tycoon's are desperately trying to change production make their oil worth more but to be honest what you said satisfied me.
Oh I certainly agree, even if the opportunities arise for you, it never comes without responsibilities per say. Like you say, expectations can be high for those who are lucky which puts them into the same position as those working from the bottom to achieve that position. It's all about perspective.
True. Without discovery you would not have foundation. However not every businessman is looking for this. Would you agree?
That's what I think too, but also what do you think about these so called 'oil tycoons' trying to lower production so they can raise prices?
Of course it doesn't take a genius to work that out but at the same time not everyone has the knowledge or the access to do those sorts of things. I guess what I'm trying to say is opportunities like that don't happen to everyone but for you, it did. That in no way was a spiteful comment, rather I was trying to say you've done good :D
To be honest, working at McDonalds has always had a bad reputation only because of society and not the business itself. If I remember correctly, for here anyway, they earn more then what I earn and I'm classed as a manager.
Of course that was slightly unrelated to what you was talking about, I just wanted to mention it. I do have to admit, the number of chains Ray has across the world is just simply amazing to be honest. I know McDonalds has been massive for a long time but back when I was a little kid, it was a lot harder to find one compared to now where you find one literally every five minutes. I guess that's dedication and determination to make a business expand and grow.
I get what you was saying. That's a pretty good system you and many others have going. I think I'll have to consider doing something similar myself, on a much smaller scale for now though.
Oh right. I might be wrong but that sounds like a good business to be getting into right now, specially with oil prices dropping through the roof. What's your take on oil lately anyway?
Forced huh, I've never met anyone who's been forced into a situation like that before. Do you regret any of it at all?
I totally agree but maybe the life of someone who works has made me miserable and boring.
That actually sounds promising considering you want to move back home, sorry I mean you will be moving back home. What business are they intending to start if you don't mind me asking?
Property investing? You sure have done a lot considering that you're the same age as me. That's something to be really proud of (if you aren't).
Are these properties you invested in from South Africa?
Well I think that's because of modern society. They don't tend to think about the future at all. Of course I can't sweep everyone with the same brush, you're a prime example on why not to.
Feel free to talk to me if you're ever bored, although lacking in knowledge I quite enjoy business.
Ah I see.
It's like you're living the life but in reality you're also missing out on the relationships between family and friends. Less time to do your own thing.
Do you still plan on continuing an IT-related career when you move back to South Africa?
I mean that's expected from such a place but that is pretty amazing still. At least for me who is only used to between 2-8 around this time of year. Do you not get sick of it sometimes?
If you don't mind me asking, what is your job?
Cause it sounds pretty amazing if you're travelling a lot of the time.
You are right there, fillers (although necessary at the time) were the ruins of potentially great animes. I mean some people might argue that but considering I completely forgot most of what happened in them already, it could not have been that great.
Well if you don't read manga then yeah, don't bother with one piece unless you're stuck in a rut with absolutely nothing to do for 2 weeks. :D
Oh you're currently living in Dubai? Is it nice there?
I remember you said about bleach but I mean did you enjoy watching it? Same with Naruto and Fairy Tail.
I've always been a One piece fan and any answer I would give would be biased however if you do read manga, I do recommend reading one piece since you can skip all the fillers.
Of course it is. Purple can be described by every good adjective and the opposites of every bad adjective. Purple is love, Purple is life. Do you finally understand the value of purple young one? :P
