So you're watching Gintama that's great.
Well let me give you an advice.
Just for your information.
The first Episodes and following few Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people, so maybe for you as well.
But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama
I haven't read the manga of Kuroko's basket, but I would think it follows it closely. Oh, I also really loved Barakamon, it's a light hearted show and I think you'll like it too!
Just an endorsement from a wandering MAL user, don't mind me.
Many said that season 2 is better, and I have to agree. Mainly because it's better animated and the humour gets better. However, if you think the first episodes weren't interesting enough, I don't think you'll like the latter episodes. It's just the same, but the relations developed a bit.
Ouran and Lovecom were the love comedies I disliked. I gave Ouran a good score, because tbh, it really doesn't do anything wrong. But I guess the humour is just girly It's ironic, since this is coming from a guy who likes K-on. But think about it this way: the girls are girly, in the way how men would like them to be. In Ouran, there's a lot of fanservice for girls. But hey, I guess I only like love comedies with cute girls in it?
Riza and Haruhi wasn't all that, so I feel more related to shows with bishoujos. You really should watch Honey and Clover if you like love comedies. I really liked the realistic portrayal of romance in the series too, cause romances are often too cliché.
I really should start watching Mitsudomoe, it caught my attention a long time ago, never bothered to download it.
Maybe we end up having bruises, but it's not that bad. And we usually wear protection, so it's okay. I meant that if I went to a gym, I could end up getting KO'ed, and I don't think that's really healthy. But then again, I'm a bit weird, so maybe you're right.
Yes, that club is kind of a joke. They treat anime as literature, so all of the more serious anime get praised a lot. Usually, the humourous anime gets left out, like K-on, just because they assume moe is bad by default.
I don't know what your view on K-on is, but I really like it. I like moe, but that's not the main reason I like it, but people tend to classify you as a moe-tard just because you like K-on, even though it's for other more important reasons. You've probably guessed already, but I'm impressed with animation like that, for a series. You don't get to see that a lot these days.
But like you, I've got my punching bag, which is good enough.
The problem I have with the mainstream is, when they think they've watched enough anime, they think they can review like no one else, because this site allows so. Sure, they know Bleach and Naruto sucks, but they don't know for what reason. Only because they're "past that age of watching people fight", or because they dislike fillers.
That's all.
I mean, nobody even cares about the animation, and I've been in this "connoisseur" club, and they dare to say that animation is "just an extra". What the fuck man. If it's all about the story, people should just read novels or manga. I think you know what I mean, since you're an animator as well.
Is Trigun really that good? It's one of those series that American viewers usually start with. I kind of subconsciously ignore those, but I'll try to watch it.
So, do you work as an animator now?
Yes, I love Ippo, it's such a badass series. Too bad they ruined the 2nd season a bit. They learned to be lazy with the animation and use the "shaky camera" technique. When was the time when the punching sequence were animated, and not just putting a few frames in a loop.
So, where did you study, and was it only specialized in 2D animations?
you are right I had never noticed that he was satirizing the anime
I took this picture on a forum for fans of TTGL and read through over ( because I understand little of the English)
and as if he had understood what he felt for TTGL was the same as I
which is actually the whole world was created from Gurren brigade ...
and because it is very time goes tamben who have not updated my profile...
Thx for Alert! ;)
To love Ru is very very awkward for someone to get back into anime again, but I'm sure inside an otaku's point of view, it MAY be. To a more experienced anime and manga reader, To love Ru is just like those ecchi-comedy series we find very common recently. I am very excited for the new anime season, hoping that it will broadcast some good chapters from the original manga. Sure the manga did come out with a very bad ending, but all of us can know that the author probably wasn't doing so well in the magazines, and was forced to end. (Many chapters have the same idea, and there wasn't alot of storyline to tempt us readers to continue the series). There are still a few chapters that are worth reading, and to say the truth in my opinion, it is probably going to be quite a classic in probably 10 years or so. I find it amusing how it was mentioned in the manga Bakuman, in one chapter when the artists were discussing their favorite manga.
I can see that you are in the age where you have very little time on anime/manga, which also means that the updating series will be hard to catch up. I can get the exact feeling every time I finish reading an exciting manga, waiting for that next chapter to come out. Of course this actually affects my daily life, which causes lots of trouble and stress at school. >.<
Sometimes I use manga and anime to release my stress as well, but not the ones that have those "continued to next chapter" dilemmas that just makes me want to crash my computer screen.
Starting the summer season, I was also quite disappointed with the K-on second season. The first few episodes were very boring, and were not funny at all. After forcing myself to watch, I still did not find a lot of laughing time while watching the new series. K-on (first season) was definitely a lot more chibi and exciting to watch, which occurs very commonly in anime. You hardly can find any anime second seasons which are better to watch than the first seasons.
I was also upset because the theme songs in the second season of K-on were not very catchy. DX
Mitsudomoe is a show that is very limited to the age of viewers, at most teens in which I am guessing. Kids may be interested to the opening song and the appearance of the characters, but after watching... they might start to move into Seitokai Yakuindomo in just a couple weeks. If you actually search Mitsudomoe in google images without the safe search on.... you will find yourself some annoying pictures (unless you are a lolicon of course)
I am very excited of this season's new anime, all having unique traits in them. Mitsudomoe has kinda loli feel, with a big portion of crude jokes. Seitokai Yakuindomo is very interesting in the appearance, quite funny with the adult jokes, but definitely not for all viewers. Asobi ni Ikuyo is one that I am quite disappointed, hence I actually enjoyed the manga series in the monthly COMIC ALIVE. Strike Witches 2 is quite interesting, but has some negatives compared to the first season. Nuraihyon is very shonen-like, and I am hoping it to become just like those other popular series, but I have a feeling that it might end in just a limited amount of episodes. Ookamisan is quite unique, but I can't really find that much interest while watching it. The gags are used too commonly, and one that annoys me the most is the conversations with the narrator. It sure looks like kuroko is reading that book huh? Amagi SS keeps me warned since I heard it was a game-based anime, just hoping it wouldn't end up like School Days lol. Seikrei isn't very good or very bad, but it wasn't my taste in the first place. Neither was first season. Kuroshitsuji 2 made many fans annoyed, since there was a change to the main characters. If only they changed the title, haters may decide to watch it.
I'm not sure if you watched all of these series, (not forcing you to watch them at all) but thanks for reading such a long post. I am finding myself more careful while watching and reading manga, so that I wouldn't ever feel like wasting time, or becoming more stressful at school.
Every time I watch these, I always buckle myself waiting for the creepy part to happen. If only there was comedy, maybe some ecchi but without using it as violence inside these psychological anime, I will have a great time watching them. Sure, these are very hard for authors to write, but as long as they don't have horror as a genre, I will probably enjoy the particular series.
I was actually not a hardcore otaku 3 years ago, that being the first time I got interested after watching To-Love ru. (pretty insane right?) I did watch eva back in the day when I was just an average manga reader, but I went on hiatus for probably a couple years. There were a few interesting anime last season, including Arakawa under the bridge, and maybe angel beats, but its unfortunate how I suddenly dropped the series, maybe just a little not my kind of taste. Or else I was heard that Angel beats got more appreciation from the fans, more than Arakawa. I might go back to look at the series again very soon, but I have a ton of manga to read (I usually read all new updates from certain websites/ and I buy those big magazines with 20-30 different manga chapters in them)
Other than that, I also watched zetsubou sensei, the opening themes were just awesome to what I remember, and I was laughing quite hard while watching the series. Sometimes it feels like it has the psychological feel in it, but maybe not enough. After all, the only psychological anime I find funny and not creepy is probably NHK. I also watched Bakemonogatari, and I was very pleased with the series. I'm guessing SHAFT is probably the animation studio for these anime, having the unique style of comedy to the anime world.
I am watching most of the new anime this season, that way I will have an easier way to connect with the anime last season. I think all the new anime are not bad at this point of time, in the exception of mitsudomoe, which I hope is going to become one of those popular comedy anime. (lucky star for example)
It is quite a classic, and brings back old memories. I just feel that the anime deserves a good score, since I get very remorse every time I listen to the theme song, hoping the series would've been longer :/ (Apologize for my english thus it isn't my first or neither the second language I use everyday)
Anime changes nowadays, and I decided to focus on another kind of genre since last year. I was very satisfied by some psychological anime, since they were the first few that made me feel like I wasn't wasting time watching anime. Of course, I still enjoy watching those other ecchi and comedy anime, but that was the first time when I felt that I am actually doing something. (you see I was a hardcore otaku, and the anime and manga on my list should have probably 1000+ just that I was too lazy to put them on, and I just used MAL a couple months ago)
I choose my favorite anime/manga very carefully, since I have a ton that I loved. Coming out with NHK, Slam Dunk and GTO, I was quite satisfied with these anime. I am pretty sure that we both watched them, and have close suggestions. xD
I am looking forward to mitsudomoe, hooking me so early in the series which happens very unfrequently. Hopefully the anime will get better, and I will find myself a good show to enjoy every week =3=
Many of the new anime last season weren't too amazing, so I am looking forward of the new ones this summer. So far the one that I am looking up the most is probably mitsudomoe, the others are just average, but we'll see ;D
