ππππ πΉ Once In A Blue Moon The handle, Blue-Crescent, has been anchored from the words "caeruleaphile" and "selenophile". These are terms I use to partly describe my odd complexities that constantly brew the raging storms that house within me. One may say that these words are the parents that gave birth to the said handle. A caeruleaphile is someone who adores the blue colour. A selenophile is a lover of the moon. BLUE is a colour associated with a handful of meanings. It signifies calmness, serenity, peace, perseverance, wisdom, softness, sincerity but may also mean solitude and loneliness. The blue is also my most preferred colour and the colour I believe my chaotic mind and soul wear. So, please, do not be surprised if ever you will find me daydreaming about the skies, seas, and infinite horizon. After all, they meet at the blue. Or, how about me painting your entire city blue? CRESCENT is a word used to give tribute to the moon at its waning or waxing phase. This is due to my fascination to the beauty of the moon and my love for moon-gazing during serene evenings. Among all the celestial bodies, it is the moon that easily captures the heart. It undergoes different phases just like people. Despite the fact that it borrows its light from the Sun, it never fails to shine against the darkness that wants to shroud it, and sends beams of warmth at nighttime to everything that is beneath it. ππππ ππππ ππππππ πΉ The Hanyou With The Robe Of The Fire-Rat INUYASHA, the character in my profile picture, is the titular protagonist from the series Inuyasha, written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. The manga was first released in 1996 while the anime in 2000. It received a spin-off anime titled Hanyou No Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi in 2020, following the adventures of the daughters of Inuyasha and his older half-brother, Sesshoumaru. I have first seen the series when I was still 8 years old, around 2002, and the rest was history. Since then, I have become an avid admirer of the show. This series have played a vital role in my growing years. Among all the anime shows I have ever watched, this holds a very special place in my heart, all for the bittersweet nostalgia I can associate it with, thus making Inuyasha as my beloved childhood superhero. As for the current record, I have watched the series for around seven times already, in three different languages. For me, it never gets old, and if does, it sure is aging beautifully like a vintage wine. This will forever be my ultimate bias in the culture of anime. So, if ever you have a bad blood for this show and want to say something bad about it to me, do not even try. Let us not waste each other's time because I ain't changing my mind. πΉ The Wandering Moonchild I am a man of many interests. Time by time I delve into anime and related media. I started anime at a young age hence, I am more familiar with the old school ones and those shows that were most likely released during my growing years. Despite being able to watch a handful of shows, and constantly following the seasonals, I am very meticulous with the ones that make it to the list of my personal favorites. I am definitely an old soul since I tend to get charmed by old stuffs including music and animated shows. I also consider myself as a moonchild and a night owl side by side. That means I like the moon more than how a normal human should, and that my energy are mostly at its peak during the evenings. Whenever I have spare time, I feed my thoughts with classical literature. I strongly believe that they comprise the strongest foundations of today's literature, hence they should not be taken for granted, but rather be given appreciation. I enjoy writing stories and composing poems too. I have a compilation of poems I have penned and it is in my bucket list to self-publish a book in the future. I prefer green tea over coffee anytime of the day, as it is relaxing to have and is less hyperacidity-inducing. A sweet tooth in my own ways. I prefer rainy afternoons over sunny mornings (unless I have errands to accomplish). Lastly, I have a huge heart for the colour blue. πππ ππππππππ ππππππ πΉ Most Preferred Genres And Tags: Shounen, Shoujo, Mahou Shoujo, Seinen, Josei, Slice Of Life, Coming Of Age, Romance, Comedy, Action, Historical, Supernatural, Psychological, Adventure, Fantasy, Mystery, Horror, Detective, Occult Detective When it comes to preferences for anime, I have a condition I call as The Old Show Syndrome (TOSS). I love watching old school anime as far as the 1980s, as they tend to have more engrossing storylines amidst the fact that their audio-visuals were made back in an era where high technology is not applied into animation. πΉ Least Preferred Genres And Tags: I am not fond of shows tagged under the genres of mecha and science fiction. I tried many times back then but I cannot seem to love it. I also find shows that showcase excessive nudity and sexual innuendos very disturbing and uncomfortable. π ππππππππ ππ πππ ππππ πΉ Anime Series: InuYasha | Hanyou No Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi | Digimon Adventure | Digimon Adventure 02 | Digimon Adventure (2020) | Ayashi No Ceres | Fushigi Yuugi | Cardcaptor Sakura | Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card | Ghost Hunt | Sakurako-san No Ashimoto Ni Wa Shitai Ga Umatteiru | Yu-Gi-Oh! I'm not either. That's all. There was no place for me, so I had to find one myself. And then I realized. I had a place, but I was the only one in it. About your second paragraph, that's the problem. More and more it feels like it's more about making money rather than making quality. Still, some staff can make good passion projects, such as Ongaku, though because there are limited funds and not much advertisement, they fly over the radar of a lot of people. I saw this happening last year when I was watching a lot of seasonal anime too. I tried Isekai, but the works I saw all seem the same to me. I had to look at much older ones to find the better ones. For cute girls doing cute things, K'On! was actually surprising for me because it was more than that. It has a very inspirational story about friendship and finding what you love to do. Other than that, other types of shows like that bored me.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes is my second favorite anime. It's a deeply historical and politically analytical interpretation of mankind's history and their inevitable ways of self destruction, degeneracy, and war, through a huge cast of deeply fleshed out, larger than life characters. It's a grand epic. Other than that, I've watched Tytania, which has the same director. It's been lost in time, and isn't nearly as good as Legend of the Galactic Heroes, though I still enjoyed it. However, the anime doesn't finish the story, as Tanaka kept writing new novels after the anime was already done. Summaries of what happens next can be found online.
Take care.
Sa recommendation, old gen( before 2010) or new gen(2010 onwards)? tsk what genre? may pagka wild na den kasi mga tropes sa new gen anime ngaun eh, like ecchi incase lang ayaw mo nung gnong trope hehehe para mas makapagbigay ako ng papasok s ataste mo siguro
God Bless din
I went back to older anime because I wanted to watch what a lot of people consider classics, or influential anime that had a lot of impact. I also followed works from staff that are considered legends. I was watching too much seasonal anime which was mostly a waste of time. I think a month or two from now that list can look a lot different.
Regardless, I think it's important to watch the classics. It's like knowing your history. To understand modern anime more it's important to watch those. They paved the way for the new generations of anime and should be acknowledged and watched for their impact and influence on the medium.
currently nagdodwnload ako sa animerush. Pokemon Journeys lng na stream ko kasi tlgang may time na napaparewatch ako n anime kesa manood ng bago. kahit new anime nirerewatch ko dn pag tlgang nagustuhan ko
Nakakmiss nga mga anime ng early 2000s, mid at late 2000s at late 1990s eh...btw kkabalik ko nga lang from hiatus sa panood ng anime after ilang years...mostly ng pinapanood ko sa comeback ko ngaun mga old anime, mostly mga anime na air a hero tv at animax asia na hnd ko nagawang masimulan at matapos..
How do you feel about "Souryuuden"? Looks really cool.
thanks for accepting my friend request
Welp, can't do anything about it.
Tho it was a bit tiring re-adding all the anime i have watched.
