Hello.
I am just a lonely and depressed person, so I don't know why you visited my profile.
But I hope we can be friends.

As a recovering NEET, I can relate to some degree to the friendship struggles.
Friendships do take time to build. Since I think trust is the base upon which friendships are built. It is also why children make friends much more easier. It's easier for children to trust. Therefore it's easier for them to make friends.
I hope you don't mind me nerding out a little. My coping and communication strategies involves basically nerding out.
Loosing friends, sounds like the story of life when one hits the mid twenties onwards when social responsibilities and obligation take over the simple quests of school life. I don't know how much free time you have or the type of community you live in, but I noticed I tend to have more friends when I am more active in a social group. Human friendships thrive on helping each other and building trust and proximity.
There is good family pressure and bad family pressure. The good kind make home a little uncomfortable and pushes you to find ways to add to the food supply. I think this natural, part of human life. Incidentally no one pressures as much as parents and spouses. The bad pressure is the kind that pushes us towards vice or bad coping strategies.
Hope is everything. Without hope trying feels pointless impossible.
Fortunately for our species handsomeness has a strong social component to it. We boost the stat through confidence, contentment and grooming. So there, there is hope. Fitness, is fortunately remedied through exercises. Friendship then is the harder stat to boost as it has many variables connected to it but since we are social animals, simple interactions can develop into friendships.
I am cheering for you, since it's the only thing I can do for you right now given my status as recovering NEET.
This is my building faith, building hope playlist. Hope it encourages you to try stuff, the way it encourages you, as it does me.

Have been streaming for less than 10 years though.
I’m not good at initiating conversations, but if you have any anime questions or want recomnendations, I’ll try to help.
Dororo has some similarities to Hell’s Paradise, but is MUCH better imo. Let me know what you think of it after watching.
