I like new/different interpretations of vampire mythology (but remain very critical of them), competent female characters, dark humour, and well-defined worlds.
I'm not keen on mecha, slice of life, or shounen ecchi, but with enough encouragement will try anything. I do not like dubs, repetitiveness, cliches, generic characters/storylines, or 3D rendered anime.
I drop a lot -- not just bad media, but anything I find mediocre. Who has time to spend on mediocre anime?
I primarily use this site to keep track of what episode/chapter I'm up to, take notes on my thoughts (yay reviews), and see what other people like and have to say. Feel free to drop me a line.
