Those last 3 episodes of D:C had me sobbing, and, though the first 7 were a little dry, experiencing Ryo's pain and loneliness at the end got it pretty high up there on my list. I mean, it's at number one for now (since it's still fresh in my mind), but I may decide to lower its ranking depending on how strong of an influence it will have on me over an extended period of time.

Also, I know a lot of people are critical over the art direction, but, personally, I wouldn't have it any other way. When I try and picture it in a more traditional style, or one that would be considered more pleasing to the eye, it just doesn't work nearly as well. For example, the 'gore', done in a more traditional manner would come off as gimmicky and overdone, whereas, with the art style used, the scenes with blood don't feel like they're meant to be shocking at all. Rather, it fits in naturally, like it's something to be accepted without second thought, which just feels right.

Anyways, I'm not sure if I was able to get my feelings concerning that last point across, and it's not like that's the only part the animation style that I liked, but I'll just leave it at that. I don't normally bother to comment anything, but this particular anime had left me with a lot of feelings, and I wanted to share even just a fraction of them.

Hey ho.

So you're watching Gintama that's great.

Well let me give you an advice.
Just for the information.

The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.

But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
