Feel free to message me on my discord if you'd like to discuss anime and manga with me!
I'm a film student who's very much into animation and would like to potentially peruse it in the future.

On the descriptions for shows on my anime list, AER stands for average episode rating, so if I were to add up all the ratings I gave each episode after rating them out of 10, you would get that number. Averages are not weighted, longer episodes are seen as equal as shorter episodes.
Anime Achievements: June 29th, 2019 - First anime (Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu)
June 25th, 2020 - 50th anime (Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen 2nd Season)
June 28th, 2020 - 1000 episodes watched
June 20th 2021 - 100th anime (Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Movie 3: Hangyaku no Monogatari)
January 24th, 2022 - 2000 episodes watched
June 7th, 2022 - 150th anime (Kara no Kyoukai Movie 4: Garan no Dou)
October 1st, 2024 - 200th anime (Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!)
October 6th, 2024 - 50 days watched
Rating Criteria:
10 [Transcendent] - The absolute pinnacle of the medium, the Crème de la Crème, shows that have had such a profound impact on myself that I have no choice but to consider them perfect.
9 [Outstanding] - Unforgettable experiences. Shows that have deeply affected me or blown me away. The top 5% of anime lie here.
8 [Amazing] - A well rounded work with incredible highs. Minor flaws are present, but are overshadowed. Shows I would highly recommend to everyone.
7 [Solid] - A serviceable watch, one where you feel satisfied after it’s over. Anything past this is something I am actively eager to rewatch.
6 [Decent] - A fine work, a show with enough in it to see watching it as a worthwhile experience. Definitively flawed, and yet has enough merit to warrant viewing.
5 [Middling] - Middle of the line, average. Perhaps not the worst in any significant way but also not the best. Every strength is weighed back by an equal flaw.
4 [Subpar] - Below average, a show where its cons outweigh its pros. A hampered experience.
3 [Bad] - At the threshold of unwatchable. Perhaps there are one or two aspects that keep me entertained enough to continue watching, but an unsatisfactory experience overall.
2 [Appalling] - Unwatchable, but not insulting. Perhaps extremely forgettable. An experience that leaves you with a hollow feeling, like you undoubtedly wasted your time watching it. Shows I tend to think the least about.
1 [Abyss Fiction] - Genuinely unbearable. Shows I would rather watch paint dry than sit through. Actively painful to watch. Things I wish to never think about again.
1. Ladybug Bush (Parts 2&3)/Feelings [3-Gatsu no Lion 2nd Season]
2. Midnight Sun [Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Part 2]
3. Don't Be [Shinsekai Evangelion]
4. Heavenward [Texhnolyze]
5. At the End of Eternity [Top wo Nerae! Gunbuster]
I have a bet that this dude did not get the love he needs from his parents. Mofo has a tiktok brain of a review of 3 for Frieren. Contrarians just really love the world to burn aint it?
Oof, with Evangelion as your favourite and only 200-odd shows watched... No wonder your review on Frieren sucks and the funny thing is, I haven't even watched the show yet. I can see how "intellectual" you wanted to sound to please the minority... Ironically your reviewing skill is "generic & bland", the problem with modern critic work... Say something opposite to popular belief, feel superior to others... Talk about desperate... LoL
NGL your Frieren review felt like you were confused and pretty much offered the reverse of what was promised intially....
I agree with some points but it seemed like you kind of missed lots of stuff while watching the show entirely especially the magic and stuff(not to mention characters themselves)

It's interesting and somewhat disheartening fans don't just acknowledge a difference in opinion and instead resort to insulting the reviewer.

Also, nice JJK review.
