I grew up with 1990s manga and anime shows that used to be a television staple in my country, then grew out of it for most of my high school and college years. Then, I eventually re-discovered my passion for this particular subset of Japanese entertainment. This industry might have its share of problems, but I found that getting back to animango, as well as expressing my thoughts through writing about it, is a great reprieve from the daily working grind.
I'm mostly here to write and read reviews. The numbers on my list and reviews aren't important at all, I mostly decided them on a whim and changed my mind all the time anyway. Also, subjective as hell :]
Feel free to drop a comment if you're inclined to, I won't bite (much). While I have my preferences (*murder mystery, geopolitical fantasy, psychological thriller, bittersweet romance), I'm generally open to nearly every genre or demographic, so I'll always welcome recommendation.
