Everyone seems so angry over a poorly written review that was written over ten years ago by some one that doesn't even use this site anymore. Despite how poorly written the review is (and it is) maybe you people should grow up and realize that people may not like the same things that you do, and that they don't need to and move on with your lives.

This dude really wrote a bad review and peaced out.
You cant just place your own "broken plot device" to a part of a show you don't like. True tears did a great job at explaining their plot while being realistic.
All you did was make 117 people agree to a rant instead of a trying to understand the themes that True Tears tried to teach you.
Of course, it shows how you just take poetry as a "typical drama-like statement"

Man, I couldn't stop laughing when I read your review of True Tears. You're right in most things you say, but I just liked that show. And that makes it all the more funny to see your rage building up for failures I didn't even notice... Well, I did notice, I just didn't pay it any heed. But anyways, that was a wonderful perspective about it, I'm not sadistic, I'm not asking you to watch painfully bad series, but if you come across more and feel like it, I'd like to know what you think about them.

I loved your True Tears review. Absolutely amazing review.

Lol call me shallow but I like how everyone looks perfect, it gives some nice eyecandy. Can't say the same for real stars, most are overrated.

And at the end of that clip it is confirmed its not just teasing, as the Dad says OK YOU CAN STOP TEASING NOW and Sanae is like HUH NO IM NOT TEASING! I REALLY DO WANT HIM TO GET ME FROM BEHIND. And hypothetically she would definately bend over for Tomoya if he asked, you just get that feeling.

Yea same reasons I like anime. Besides the creativity, everyone looks good. In live action you get your ugly actors. And theres no moe lol but sounds like you hate moe

Anyway its not that I can't relate, its all in the context. Clannad pretends to be serious and dramatic but then every girl in the school has their legs open waiting for the legendary main character to come. It's kind of subtle but I can't take it seriously anymore. A show like Inukami OTOH knows its a joke the whole way through, keeping everything in context. So I don't mind that.

From what I've seen of Clannad, Tomoya seems like a generic harem lead more than a full fleshed out character. The only thing different was his arm, and his situation with his dad. Typical when you adapt games into anime. But I gotta admit hes one of the better out of game adaptations. Well, only thing I can say KEY does well is drama and music. Too bad its wrapped in Otaku blanket of no-common-sense. Like, I dropped Kanon as soon as Main Guy and 10yo girl kissed. WTF NO but hey its ok for otaku who worship elemetary school chars.

Well I hope you didn't take me seriously when I said you hurt my feelings but yeah there are other ways of saying an anime is shit without going into specifics about the plot. But if you like ranting in reviews then thats your choice, you don't need to work on anything. Just expect to get downrated to hell.

Anyway lol clannad is something I like to rant about, except I got no one to rant to. I'm pretty much a closet otaku, no one knows I watch anime and I don't know anyone who watches anime. Otherwise ima pretty normal guy whose been in relationships and fucked up social situations, so animes like clannad piss me off. I dropped it as soon as the 3rd girl showed interest in him, and then theres Tomoyo chapter and kyou chapter as well pretty much means he gets 100 girls to himself, fuck off. And I also watched this clip in afterstory where Nagisa's mother wants to fuck him or something, WHAT THE FUCK srsly aimed at otaku losers who fantasise about having 100 girls and their mom. Not lumping u in with them but thats so obviously their audience. I would give it a try for the slice of life except that I don't like watching Tomoya staring at nothing for 10 min and a view of retardgirl's garden for the other 10min, some pacing issues maybe. And yeah Angel Beats, dropped at ep 2 cos I coudnt stand the 90s animation style.

lol so u write reviews for yourself. You don't want advice cos u don't care that ur reviews are rated down thats all good, just say so from the beginning. Beacuse just a 'No.' is jerky to me and I'm a sensitive guy it really hurts my heart when I put so much effort and get shot down so fast

Anyway, you really spoiled nothing but I'm sick of reading reviews that rant and talks in language aimed at ppl who already watched it. When it ends up front page thats where ppl look to see if they should watch it or not, its not helpful. Deciding that an anime for a fact sucks so you spoil it on purpose is lol. I never said mentioning Akari is a spoiler but no one knows who the fuck that is, belongs in a discussion not a review, same with every other inside reference u spent a few paragraphs on.

That was the only thing I noticed that are creeping into reviews everywhere, I couldn't care less that you hate the anime and did a hateful review. I really meant it was a 'nice review' because you were spot on with everything else that wasn't a rant, but u didnt flesh out or mention a few things, eg it has the best backgrounds you will find in TV anime. OTOH, after watching half of it thats the only thing really going for it. I'm no fanboy, actually on the verge of dropping it as its becoming an effort to watch. no fan of the community on here either because its mostly stupid kids that follow the herd and parrot each other

I dont know what u mean about being a weeaboo seppuku etc but I'm a casual anime watcher, dont have time to watch crap and so I drop everything that slightly sucks without giving it a rating. So thats why most of my entries rated 7 or over because I liked it enough to finish it. I have alot of anime that isnt listed bcos i dropped it after 1 or 2 eps. That would be where my 1-5 scores should be, u really shouldnt judge people by their list. But anyway, it looked like u spent some effort on ur review so just pointing out some things I noticed, I didn't mean to do it in a patronising tone.
