☆ INTRODUCTION ☆ Information will show up later, stay tuned! ~ AN INTRODUCTION OF MYSELF AS A PERSON: ~ BEFORE YOU ADD ME AS A FRIEND, READ THE RULES: Rule #1: Do not treat me like I'm part of the anime community please based on common interests in liking anime and manga, I will see you as an individual and not as another anime fan like myself, and just because you're an anime fan too or if you have tastes in common with me doesn't mean that I'm going to get along with you nor automatically like or trust you as a friend since common interests don't define automatic friendship in my eyes as well as I'm not part of a community based on what I like. Feel free to comment if you want, but if one is gonna be kind to me then I'll be kind back to you and give you the same respects, but if one is gonna be a complete asshole who treats me like crap based on opinions or whatever then they're not gonna get any response from me no matter what they do and comments will be removed if they're persistent on me. Rule #2: No social justice whiners will ever be allowed to comment nor add me as a friend on this website if they make attempts towards me or anyone else, I do not stand for people who make politically correct remarks at me or at somebody else as well as I don't have any patience for people who whine and complain about the things they don't like. And don't even bother playing the victim if I won't accept you, I know your tactics in your manipulation and your totalitarian regimes will be doomed to fail. So that's not where to go if one wants to add me as a friend cor comment on my profile, and if you don't like that I said this then you might want to move on somewhere else and stay the hell away from me because I don't want anything to do with any SJWhiners at all. Rule #3: If you're gonna ask me something and genuinely want to know what I believe on something, then I'll tell you. But if you're asking me and expect me to come up with something that you want to hear rather than what I believe, then don't even bother because what I'm gonna say isn't gonna be convenient to your entitled perception on something. Just be rational if you want to talk with me and we can respectfully agree to disagree whether it'd be on anime or whatever. And you're allowed to what you believe and can disagree all you want but don't act like you're in a nuclear war with someone crazy as well as don't call me ignorant or wrong simply because I don't agree with your egotistical perception. It's beyond annoying tbh, and I'm sick of people that act like this. If you want to know my story on how I gotten into anime, click down below! ~ MY HISTORY OF HOW I GOT INTO ANIME/MANGA: I first watched Digimon Adventure live on Fox Kids when I was 5-6 years old, though I didn't know it was an anime at the time. I thought it was another cartoon just like everything else I was watching at the time. But after seeing it, I became a Digimon kid growing up all the way to an extent that I collected VHS tapes and every franchise related to Digimon including trading cards. I even saw a VHS tape of the first 4 episodes Digimon Tamers but I wasn't as hooked as I was on Digimon Adventure but I still liked watching it enough. I saw up to episode 1-9 as well as my parents video taped some Digimon episodes that were live on Fox Kids back when it was airing, which were episodes 39-41, 43-47, and 50-52. Sadly that video tape was crushed and broken fairly recently so it can't be seen again now, but I wanted to see so much more of the episodes to the very end.. Though at one point in my early years, when I watched Digimon The Movie on movie theaters and I was really hyped to see it since I was a Digimon kid, but I soon began getting disappointed that most of the Digimon characters were pushed into being side characters, then once Digimon Adventure 02 came out as well as it overshadowed what I was seraching for in Google Images before I realized they were called Digimon "Adventure", at the time I thought it was called Digimon and that only. But with Digimon, it kind of went away from me for sometime in 2004 I think. I also briefly watched Naruto in a hotel while I was on my trip to Kenora with my siblings, but I couldn't get into Naruto since I found the first few episodes harder to watch, I felt sorry for Naruto as a person as well as I disliked Sakura and Sasuke too, so that didn't leave impact on my life. I also was a huge video gamer throughout my whole childhood so that also had an impact as well, and my brother once introduced me into a PS1 game called Star Ocean Second Story back in 2002, then in 2004 once, my brother and I saw an anime called Star Ocean EX, it was then that I was introduced into anime and started seeing the difference between anime and cartoons, my brother was very disappointed that it didn't follow the story of the video game as well as I felt that it was missing alot but it was an impact for me because I found anime at the time to be a dying art as well as it had nice artwork. Then randomly in 2008 when I was introduced to Youtube at the time, I saw Digimon Adventure episodes and needless to say I gotten back into watching Digimon again and became a fan again. I decided I'd pick up from after episode 9 with Fridgimon and whatnot and kept watching it all the way to the very end, and I loved it so much. It was so much that I decided to see more of Digimon Tamers as well as Digimon Adventure 02, and I watched both of these to the very end. Needless to say I did enjoy Digimon Tamers but I really didn't enjoy Digimon Adventure 02 nearly as much. Then I decided I'd watch Digimon Frontier and I didn't care for that as much as I did with Digimon Adventure and Tamers, but kept watching that to the very end since it did have an interesting story enough even though it felt like one big single arc story book to me. Then in my teen years when I was 15, I started watching Digimon Savers (Digimon Data Squad) and I quite enjoyed it because it had an interesting story of its own despite being different from the rest of what I've watched, and I kept watching that throughout highschool all the way till around grade 11, then when I was surfing around in the web online in 2011, I started watching the original Fullmetal Alchemist, and I kept watching that and loved it but I wasn't really accepting the fact that I was into anime at the time because I feared that I'd be made fun of for being into these things so I kept it all private to myself, though my parents and my brother knew that I was into it so I shared it with them. I also sneaked in watching a few others like Rurouni Kenshin and Skip Beat, and it didn't really catch my attention till later on in life as FMA did at the time in highschool since I wasn't really accepting the fact that I was into it once again. Though I watched Elfen Lied to the very end and it had a very impactful message on what happens to the person if they get bullied too much, they get messed up.. Then in grade 12, in 2012, I was into Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and loved that way more than the original since it had a satisfying ending to its source material. And I rewatched it all the way till 2 months after I graduated from highschool, I then threw a grad party of my own as an honor for everyone I went to school with, after then when I was first introduced into this website and looked into the most highest rated series, I was then introduced into another anime called Gintama, I watched it for 9 months from August 2012 to March 2013 while going to the gym for some time (all the way till summer 2013). One day in the winter 2013, my mom had to leave to Britain for taking care of my oldest brother's second child, my dad and I had to rely on taking buses in order to go to the gym in a nearby town of Selkirk. It was to an extent that it was nothing but gym and Gintama, I've had high hopes that the series would get better and better overtime but it was all blind faith to me since the jokes in Gintama gotten very repetitive to me and there were scenes later on in the Poll Arc that left mental scars in my mind, and since then I was forcing myself to keep watching but I eventually stopped in episode 227 since I was asking myself if it's really worth all that trouble, it was to an extent that I questioned if all this was worth it. That is until I was introduced into another anime called Bleach and it was the hooks that got me into anime as a whole, and it saved me from the possibility of quitting these things for some time and eventually, and I watched that for over 8 months from March 2013 to November 2013 from beginning to end. I even looked up information and "behind the scenes" of the bleach series and interviews with the creator Tite Kubo himself and I loved the series of Bleach altogether. And since then, I've embraced the notion of being an anime fan and openly saying that I am one to my friends and whenever I describe myself in a conversation. I wouldn't call myself an "otaku" in a Japanese sense, but I'm definitely an "otaku" in a Western sense since the terms mean things very differently. Going back briefly around in 2012, after my trip to America and while Gintama was present, I learned Japanese Hiragana from a "Let's Learn Japanese" booklet (no, it was not from anime you weebs). In September 2013 to April 2014 (when Bleach was present), I took the Japanese language course and got a B+ on the report in university, around then was when I was also practicing the Japanese Katakana book in another "Let's Learn Japanese" booklet as well. The grammar was a really hard stage but I practiced super hard to undestand it well enough for its basic sentences, as well as the Kanji in Japanese language was hard to learn and still need practice on that, but luckily I have some "Let's Learn Japanese" books that will help me get better at it. And I plan to be good at the Japanese language before I take a trip to Japan one day in my life, and more than anything I'd rather avoid the notion of being a weeaboo since 1) I can't stand weeaboos since they happen to disrespect the Japanese culture while also denouncing their own culture, and 2) I think it's respectful to learn the native language on certain cultures since I'd do the same to any culture if they don't speak English. And since 2014, I've gone to anime conventions since then even to this present day. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ☆ MY TOP 10 BEST ANIME ☆ #1 - Legend of the Galactic Heroes #2 - Monster #3 - Steins;Gate #4 - Code Geass #5 - Gurren Lagann #6 - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood #7 - Cowboy Bebop #8 - Death Note #9 - Parasyte -The Maxim- #10 - Golden Boy ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ☆Honourable Mentions☆ Honourable Mentions #1 - Bleach Honourable Mentions #2 - Monogatari Series Honourable Mentions #3 - Highschool DxD _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ☆ MY TOP 10 BEST MANGA ☆ #1 - Akira #2 - Devilman Lady #3 - Bleach #4 - Fullmetal Alchemist #5 - Kurohime #6 - Rurouni Kenshin #7 - Great Teacher Onizuka #8 - Berserk #9 - Monster #10 - Btooom! ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ☆Honourable Mentions☆ Honourable Mentions #1 - Futari Ecchi Honourable Mentions #2 - Eyeshield 21 Honourable Mentions #3 - Detroit Metal City _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ☆ MY TOP 10 BEST LIGHT NOVELS ☆ #1 - Legend of the Galactic Heroes #2 - Monogatari Series #3 - Highschool DxD #4 - KonoSuba #5 - OreGairu #6 - The Empty Box and Zeroth Maria #7 - Welcome to the NHK #8 - Katanagatari #9 - Spice & Wolf #10 - Durarara!! ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ☆Honourable Mentions☆ Honourable Mentions #1 - A Certain Magical Index Honourable Mentions #2 - The Melencholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Honourable Mentions #3 - Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In The Dungeon? _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ☆ MY TOP 10 BEST CHARACTERS ☆ ~ MY TOP 10 BEST MALE ♂ #1 - Eikichi Onizuka (Great Teacher Onizuka) #2 - Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop) #3 - Kamina (Gurren Lagann) #4 - Roronoa Zoro (One Piece) #5 - Rintarou Okabe (Steins;Gate) #6 - Byakuya Kuchiki (Bleach) #7 - Hachiman Hikigaya (OreGairu) #8 - Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) #9 - Shenkuu Ishigami (DR.STONE) #10 - Keima Katsuragi (The World God Only Knows) ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ☆Honourable Mentions☆ Honourable Mentions #1 - Kintaro Oe (Golden Boy) Honourable Mentions #2 - Kazuma Satou (KonoSuba) Honourable Mentions #3 - Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto) _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ~ MY TOP 10 BEST FEMALE ♀ #1 - Kanoe Yuuko (Dusk Maiden of Amnesia) #2 - Holo (Spice and Wolf) #3 - C.C. And why are we attracted to anime characters? As you can tell some (or many) anime fans have this sort of thing called "waifu" (or "husbando") within the otaku community. If any of you are unaware about what "waifu" means, it's pretty much a specific female anime characater from a particular series that you like the most (to an extent that you consider her a wife) out of anything in the anime community for whatever reason you have, whether it'd be romantic attraction or sexual attraction (or even both), since it's made to look into sexy anime characters while also knowing that it's not the real thing. It's also worth a mention that there's also "husbando" which is the same with waifus in terms of male characters as husbands. However, this does NOT mean that you can openly have them as legitimate marriage material nor someone you can take out on dates, since they're not even real! So don't start thinking you should legalize marrying your waifus nor think that real life Japan is the same as anime, you fucking weebs! And more importantly, don't even dare to think of trying to use it as part of identity politics in my watch.. It'll just make everything more synthetic for the anime community, thus you're pretty much completely dead to me if you go full SJW on me! Now that this is being said, being attracted to anime characters is not a weeaboo thing at all. In fact, it is totally natural to like anime characters the same way if you were to like the opposite sex. In fact, I'd say it's biological to be hardwired into liking these characters since it's connecting and correlating into being wired to loving the female form. It's more or less like preferring an Oreo Cheesecake over Swiss cheese or preferring Chicken McNuggets over roasted chicken, same thing with preferring anime characters over the real person since your sexual tastes is like your actual tastes when you eat something, and how unrealistic and unhealthy it may be depends on the circumstances of it. Or else some prefer eating both healthy and unhealthy and don't have a preference over one another. The amount of people that do like anime characters is not a minority, but in fact a wider range of people. I have about 2 different scientific evidence as well as 1 video that I can provide for you: "Another part of the male sexual mind is an ability to be easily aroused by a possible sex partner--indeed, by the faintest hint of a possible sex partner. Zoologists have found that the males of many species will court an enormous range of objects having a vague resemblance to the female: other males, females of thw wrong species, females of the right species that have been stuffed and nailed to a board, parts of stuffed features such as a head suspended in midair, even parts of stuffed females with important features missing like the eyes and mouth. The male of a human species is easily aroused by the sight of a nude woman, not only in flesh but in movies, photographs, drawings, postcards, dolls, and bit-mapped cathode-ray-tube displays." - Steven Pinker (How The Mind Works, 1997) "One way to get a better sense of the visual cues that trigger male desire is to consider erotic art designed for men. An artist is not constrained by gravity or biology but is free to fashion impossible bodies limited only by his imagination. If a particular style of erotic art becomes popular across diverse cultures, this may be a good indication that is activating men's innate desire software. With the growth of the internet, one type of erotic art has risen to unchallenged dominance across all wired nations: Japanese anime." - Ogi Ogas (A Billion Wicked Thoughts, 2011) Last but not least, we got an anime Youtuber that states how liking anime characters is a form of empathy and imagination (highly recommended video): ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ ♥ ♣ ♦ ♠ So any of you wonder, do I have a waifu myself? As a matter of fact, I do since I myself have interests too. And in all honesty, she's incredibly gorgeous, that I think it'd be better to put her in a different area from the "Top 10 Female Characters" list.
