Steak. Steak. Steak. Everything else is a distant second. Actually, yesterday since it was just me and my cat I cooked myself some hotdogs. Today since my son is here I made a big pot of spaghetti (using gluten free noodles).
Anyway, as of right now for this season there isn't really anything that qualifies as "MUST see ASAP". There are a few that are pretty good, and you might want to check out "Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru" or "Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry"
I'm enjoying the "5th" season of Yuru Yuri, but I have to qualify that with "I didn't think much of the first two seasons", and if you haven't already gotten past those...
There are a few other shows I'm enjoying, but nothing really standing out ... yet. I'm not sure how Noragami Aragoto is going to turn out - it could be awesome, or it might not.
I just finished the first "volume" of RWBY, and if you set aside the graphics/animation (it gets better as it goes along), it is actually kind of cool. I plan to pick up the second "volume" tomorrow.
Aldnoah.Zero is another one of those on my "maybe, someday", list. The story looks interesting, but I have an almost automatic adverse to mecha so it's hard for me to want to pick up.
The season just now wrapping up had several disappointments for me. The biggest was "Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid" - the parent stories certainly had a lot of good action (Nanoha is called "white demon" by her fans - how's that for a "magical girl"), but it was strongly character driven. ViVid seemed to completely lose sight of that and focused mostly on a school like competitive sports atmosphere with very little character development (compare to, say, Bamboo Blade). And, the fights weren't really all that interesting (compare to, say, "Saki").
Nope. Definitely can't say that. There are better shows in your currently watching list that are more worth your time.
->I do like that idea, but if I'm not into the art style it's VERY hard for me to stick with a show
Yeah, same here. For instance, it's one of the two reasons I had trouble with xxxHolic -- the character designs are awkward to look at, and Watanuki was often an asshole, even though the *story* was really good.
Erp. Sorry, I mis-spelled!
->The art style of Ore Monogatari scares me, I'm not sure if I'll be able to pick it up.
Yea. I actually stalled for a while after episode 3, and I'm not yet caught back up. It's a good story, and I like the fact that it's a story about two people who are already a couple, instead of 24 episodes about two people trying to become a couple. But, the way they've drawn Takeo reminds me WAY to much of those older American cartoons that were just plain derogatory to certain ethic groups, and it bothers me. I know I shouldn't take it that way, but...
こんにちは! ひさしぶりです (grin)
->AMG THERE'S A DISAPPEARANCE OF NAGATO YUKI-CHAN?!?!! Must. Find. Now!
(grin)
It's an odd bird. Try not to go into it with any sort of expectations. It stands a couple of things on head. I'm enjoying it, but I'm still not sure exactly what to make of it.
For me, the run away hit this season is Houkago no Pleiades (TV). Close behind is Hibike! Euphonium for being a good drama (no real romance as of yet - and don't let chatter about anything between Kumiko and Reina fool you).
I'm on the fence regarding Ore Monogatari, and the second season of Yahari Ore no Seishun Love...
Sorry, I wasn't clear, I wasn't saying the people you were referring to were trolls. Just in general I get tired of reading seeing posts by trolls around here.
I haven't watched Mirai Nikki (not my style), but I know a lot of folks who's opinions I appreciate say it was good, and that's all that matters.
Akatsuki no Yona (airing)
Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova (though I haven't finished it yet)
Also, though it is a harem, I am enjoying Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata (airing). The characters are a little shallow (with one possible exception), but the humor is really good so far.
Hey, good to see you. I wasn't saying anything cause I wasn't sure you were even checking your mail :)
I finally got around to watching Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta. Setting aside the air combat, I liked it. The story and the characters were interesting. (the air combat, however, was ridiculous).
(Edit: a friend at work is trying to get me to pick up Durarara...I'm thinking about it)
