Hi there. I'm 30 and not surprisingly, I have zero friends around who are into anime. You're welcome to message me, write on my profile etc., especially if you're close to my age :) I live in Europe but it doesn't matter to me where you are from.

I like romantic/psychology anime, and futuristic/mystery/horror/sci-fi anime. You could check out my lists to see what I watch/read.

The reason I love anime is, I can't find the way it deals with emotions/thoughts/being human in other things that I watch. I'm not sure why it is like that. Anime has a lot of self-talk, maybe because of being adapted from manga, so it's like a book, but you're watching it. Maybe it's also because of the way Japanese people perceive the world. The music is also very different, the lyrics have a depth of seeing life which is different than other cultures. And the music has a lot of piano and violin both of which I love.

Anime is also very imaginative, like Ghost in The Shell series, a lot of new ideas come to life, and it's just beautiful- the colors and drawings. I've always been in love with colors, nature, and the sky which all have a special place in anime.
