First Thank you for going to the trouble of reacting and writing a response to my second anime review, MAkes me kinda happy knowing someone read it. even if you disagree with my opinion on the anime witch tbh is completely fair, I'm glad you could enjoy something I couldn't.
Also just because i can't help myself. Banished from the Heroes Party is NOT an Isekai, it's a medieval fantasy. for it to be an Isekai, someone needs to be brought into a new world. Isekai means new world or another world I think
Banished from the Heroes Party. to me had a really interesting premise, but the way during those 5 episodes, the anime told its story felt disappointing at worst, in the way the character is written.
When Rit is introduced and comes into contact. the show pretty much bores me with whatever relation they had in the past. sure knowing more about an interesting character is nice and I love flashbacks. but I barely know any of them. Red is a nice guy with a lot of skill, that can be used to solve anything plot, who has some low self-esteem problems has his only flaw, otherwise, I can't make sense why he allowed the one guy who clearly makes things harder than everyone, talk him into leaving, his sister who he cares for.
Rit looking past her dumb design, is your classic runt of the mill loyal waifu girl who loves Red cause he is more awesome than her, and he saved her that one time she made a bad call.
Sure more info will come. but the problem for me.is that we get all this info about them, before we get to see how they interact, both with each other, and together in different circumstances ( this doesn't have to be active).
I don't mind characters made super Sexy if the character makes me like them/hate, or some other thing through their personality/interaction with the world around them. For instance Naga the serpent from the old Slayers Anime. the normal outfit is more revealing than her bathing bikini, and I still love her character. same thing with Genie from Runesolier a sexy swordswoman, who wants to be respected as a strong and skilled warrior and not be thought of as anything less because she got boobs. if you want I can provide with the recommendation that to me manages to something similar, but better or just tell a good love story first show that comes to my mind is
Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou Desu. and
Mahou Senshi Louie
1 is an isekai with what i can tell is a good well-written love story ( so far. have only watched 5 episodes)
The other is a fantasy comedy, with amazing character acting
You have a good perspective of things and are a little different than I thought they would be at the beginning. And don't get me wrong, I don't have the right to call you childish, as I would do the same. However, the majority of people would probably misunderstand you. You know how it is, most simply don't want to hear negative criticism and can't handle it.
By the way, yes, it is as you say. There are quite a few works that just couldn't jump on the hype train despite good content. And these are the ones that go down accordingly. Even those that rely on a smaller target audience too will never be in the limelight. Not like "Demon Slayer" which would be a good example here again. It is visually and personally one of my favorites, from the actual content it is at best only "meh". Still, it suits the simple tastes of many and they have put it on top record-wise and others are trying to make up for it with completely negative scores. Kind of funny in the end.
In other words, keep it up, I think it's a correct way as long as the reasoning reinforces it. And I hope you will convince some people of the opposite.
But this makes you look like a child tbh. Isnt it better to score them properly? I guess i agree, here are shitons of overrated shows, but scoring them with 1 and other higher wont change anything, you need around 10.000 accounts do have an impact. Instead you could change the mind of others, with arguments. Not like i want to insult you, since i did the same stuff years ago just like you. So i cant blame you at all. But other people will throw lot of salt at you and maybe start hating the shows you try to upvote
