What I'm saying is perfectly 'normal'. There's the criteria of normal and I'm merely telling you what doesn't fit that. The only thing abnormal is your 'reaction' to the normal. There's a slight possibility: maybe you are the weirdo.
Actually, we are. The definition of 'normal' imposed by any man's standard do not fit what a Muslim is supposed to be. We were kids when our mothers taught us not to share our lunch with anyone; it was only when our lunch sucked that we shared it. If it was good, we would take it away from everyone and eat it in isolation. That was the norm. Now what a Muslim is supposed to do is to 'share' his lunch; more so when the lunch was to his taste because the more dearer the thing you spend in the way of Allah, the better for you it'd be in the end. Also the Hadith that postulates that a Muslim is a man who desires for his brother what he desires for himself pretty much set the standard of 'sharing'. There's blessing in it. But if anyone does that, he wouldn't be 'normal'; he would, then, be called kind and generous. And kindness and generosity are both not 'normal'. Virtues can never be normal.
