sometimes, when i really enjoy a particular anime, i like to look at the negative reviews, just for the sheer heck of it— hence how i found you. i don’t do this to be malicious, of course, just out of curiosity, because i do enjoy seeing other’s point of view and i believe everything is open to criticism, regardless of how incredibly i perceive it to be.


more to the point, i typically look through those who leave negative reviews watchlists as well, and usually chuckle to myself after seeing which anime those individuals consider to be excellent. “of course someone who enjoys THIS wouldn’t think *insert anime here* was good! what they consider a masterpiece is merely garbage!” i usually don’t comment on this, as i don’t feel a need to so when the anime community as a whole is already so negative—


HOWEVER. upon looking through your watchlist, i could not help but notice that you had many adult themed anime on it (i believe it is colloquially known as “hentai”). and i also took note that ever single one you had watched was listed with a 5 star or less rating. i scoured your list thrice, and unless i missed something, you did not give a single one a higher rating. this made me scratch my head, befuddled. i couldn’t help but wonder, what do you, mr. ayuchiini, consider to be the greatest “hentai” of all time? or perhaps, the best from what you’ve seen? i cannot help but be genuinely curious, and i do hope you will share your opinion with me.

Im just apathetic towards it. It doesn't have anything particularly remarkable, just easily digestible entertainment. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm just in the fourth episode lol

Can a woman be the doctor of the inner palace? Your criticism assumes yes.

But (at least in this anime) the answer is no. In my opinion, the doctor never worries about his position and the nurse is the MC for this reason!

This defeats 90% of your argumentation, if we put aside you're "I don't like strong women" argument (arguable, but you're choice).

Besides, I don't think this emperor want to kill someone of his inner palace, it's a very curious requirement. Even for a dictator, your harem is not the place where you want spread terror.

No biggie. I took the time reading it and just felt like the review isn't really interesting for anyone that isn't you, cause you're so hung up on the Gender-Thing. That's not what the Show is about. You're missing the point.

My, dude I get it. She's a bit too flawless and in control, but so are many (male) characters that feature in your favorite Shows. You don't dislike this sort of character, in general. You dislike this sort of character, when it's a girl.


Don't pretend to be talking about writing^^ You just don't like female leads bossing around the other gender. And that's okay. But that's really 90% of your criticism.
