About Ayakaze
Ayakaze, full name Remulus Chthonius Alexanderos Kurumyius Constantinus Ayakaze, is a
Chthoientist and he believes true love is blue if it has color. He is a reviewer on MAL using crappy English. He is a visual novel player and is a Nakige-chuu.
いまこの時の輝きを、どうか、忘れないで。 ーー世界で一番幸せな女の子、CHTHOLLY
He has a theorem of measuring love which states that ‘Love is measured by the relativistic value somebody wants to devote for the beloved’. He believes that good anime contains deep love like the love of
Rem from ‘Re:Zero’ and the love of
Chtholly from ‘World End’. So he would give these anime high scores. His heart is always hurted by the despair plots, but he loves the devotion which is usually initiated in desperation. So, he still wants to watch the heart-breaking stories. Aristotle believed that comedies satirize buffoonery and tragedies praise greatness, so does he. Thus, he usually does not touch school romantic comedies which are popular nowadays. In contrast, he pays more attention to isekai or the fiction whose world is an isekai. He believes that the
Eden-ish circumstances and unserious atmospheres in those school-ish anime or other fictions significantly diminishes greatness and true love, and the harsh or post-apocalyptic worlds are wonderful greenhouse for growing real love and greatness. *This does not necessarily mean that he watches any isekai; the isekai titles with the word strongest(最強), sage(賢者), and some other words related to cliche are ruled out immediately.
Chthoientist(form Chinese 珂学家): A person who invoved in Chthoience(珂学,Chtho(lly)+(sc)ience)
何ものは正義?
He learns from human history that none of justice could save people from famine caused by a growing population, so he rejects a lot of
social justice, especially while watching anime or enjoying other fictions. ‘Anime, manga, games and light novels are the last Eden of true freedom, while the real world is contaminated by the vainglory of so-called Liberty, Green, and Equality.’ ‘Why a fiction should follow the so-called Justice of the real world.’ He likes anime that violate the so-called ethics, like ‘Yosuga no Sora’ and ‘Aki Sora’. But he will not be happy when he watches anime that want to show some naive justice like ‘that I will bring liberty to you’ or ‘I will eliminate slavery (in a medieval-ish background)’ ‘I will save everyone’s life’. For example, Nishikigi Chisato from ‘Lycoris Recoil’ doesn't want to kill people because she wants to struggle against her granted dogmatic mission of killing, but she falls into the new dogmatic justice of no killing. Another example, Valdiena for ‘Eighty-Six’ holds the justice of Liberty, which shows her ignorance of the inferiority of herself, arrogance toward the cruel rules of the world, and vainglory of her insignificant attempts. In these cases he gives the anime low scores since he is irritated by it.
He believes that humanity ignores its
inferiority against natural laws. ‘No matter how hard humanity works, the natural catastrophe will inevitably fall.’ On an individual level, natural catastrophe means that the person will never get enough resources which are limited by the conservation of energy and matter. No matter how hard a person works he or she will never have a chance to get into the higher social class. This is the cruel truth of the world and the cosmos. Thus, he rejects almost all shounen manga and other fiction with the theme of realizing an idealistic dream with only hard work but no compromise. He believes that these fictions are naive and arrogant. ‘The almighty God, please give humans a Malthusian trap to prove our inferiority.’
Now he is immersed in Galgames(Kenetic novels); he recently bought galgames which are worth 200 thousand Japanese yen. His productivity of anime reviews has dropped significantly recently. His to play list of galgames which have a higher priority against writing reviews is below.
Dekinai Watashi ga Kurikaesu.
Otome Domain, Summer Pocket, Suisou Ginka no Historia, Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou, Daydream’s cyanoprint, Sakura no Uta, Flowers, Sakura no Toki (If translation is done) …
An even more bad news is here: His heart is broken because of playing Inochi no Spare (A Spare for Life); recently, he always feel melancholy because of the Ending of the game. However he still highly recommend that game and even write a poem for it.
Some of his detailed information is below. Although he does not care so much about anime girls’ appearance, he has his own preferred appearance of anime girls. That is having light-blue hair and light-blue eyes. It is carved into his mind because of Rem from Re:Zero, and is firmed because of Chtholly from WorldEnd. He cares a little about the performance of voice actors and actresses while watching anime, and he can’t identify voice actors and actresses from anime. Also, he likes history and has a system of his own view of history. Because of this, he sometimes criticizes anime whose historical theory is naive according to his theorem, and his full name is designed under the pattern of ancient Greek-Roman style. Plus, he likes erotica. Although some people criticize him as a lewd person, he never minds and believes that erotic desires are a fundamental part of humanity. Meanwhile, even though he does not want to be strict with science shown in fiction, he will be angry if a fiction wants to present realistic science but fails.
