Praise Ein, the first intelligent Corgi, father of all super corgis thereafter.

I review and corgi anime using the full 0-10 cabbage scale. Anime is like food, you get used to it no matter how good or bad it is if you eat enough of it. So get out there and watch shitty anime (eg. Green Green) as well as the good (eg. Cowboy Bebop, FMA:B) so you can experience it all and make a better decision.

I compare anime to its predecessors which means comparing each anime to the best that came before. This is why my ratings are much lower than others. I have watched around 400 different titles/series of anime.

Hi! Just read your kindaichi shounen no jikenbo returns review! I definitely agree with what you said, but I do recommend checking out the original series or (-->)manga(<--). The cases are much more mature(&complex) and less bland. Characters besides the main ones have more development as well.
For example...

Ok. That was just gore. I apologize for wasting your time if you have already seen them haha. Updating lists can be a pain.
I look forward to seeing more reviews from you! It is simple, and concise but enjoyable to read :)

finished kare kano. I finally understand what you mean. Still a great show though. The main guy never really moved on from his problem and it kinda pissed me off that they didn't show the play.

Hey, so far Kare Kano has been awesome. It's really one of the classic romcons. I recon that you'd at least give it a 6. Do watch it if you have the time.

Ah, I see. Well, the thing I liked about isshuukan friends was its simplicity and heart warming story. You're right, the characters and the plot weren't really something special but I guess I was kinda expecting it to be like that. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the anime met my expectations so I have no issues w/ it.

Looking forward to watching Kare Kano after my exams later this afternoon.

Also looking forward to seeing an anime that you score high as well. I think you have rather high standards, hehe.

I'll give skip beat a go one of these days. Btw, I just saw this title while browsing through MAL. kareshi kanojo no jijou. Old, but looks promising. I'm hoping it doesn't have the annoying shitty fillers that more recent animes tend to have. On another note, I've been watching an anime called isshuukan friends lately. You might want to give it a go.

Ah. I guess you do have a point. Yeah, most anime nowadays tend to go overboard with the fillers and harem. Although most of the time I still find it funny. Anyway, I might give skip beat a try. Already watched school rumble and toradora. They're both good (though school rumble's last season was bad because it was rushed). I think I'll give skip beat a try (since I've been hearing it from my other friends as well). I'll probably watch cyber city first though. The concept sounds really interesting. Thanks for the recommendations :)

Synopsis sounds interesting. I'll give it a shot after my exams this month. Do you like old anime? I have this other friend in MAL who recommended an old romcon, Maison ikkoku. I won't be able to watch it in a while since it's 96 eps. but it seems interesting as well.

Ah. I figured from your review that you've probably already watched some pretty good stuff. Anyway, maybe you can give me some titles which have something profound in their stories (like psycho-pass). I don't really mind shows like SAO and black bullet since they still provide some entertainment but a person can only watch the same cliche shit so many times. Nice meeting you btw.

Hello, I read your review on Black Bullet. Found your point of view understandable. Decided to check out your list. You seem to be looking for more meaningful anime (or at least something with a better and more compelling story). I would suggest the following: suggest Psycho-pass, Another, Kokoro connect, Ghost in the shell Stand Alone Complex series and Monogatari series. I apologize if you already know these and just didn't put it yet in your list but I figured you could use some recommendations.
