Yes, Introductory chapter is truly something else. I reread it in Japanese (I've made significant progress in my language studies) last December, with that being the fourth time I experienced the story (I've seen the anime twice and read introductory chapter twice).
Don't give up on Closing chapter though! I, too, still have to finish it: I've read 2 of the 3 "alternative" routes and I still need to read Coda, but I need to be in a certain mood to continue WA2 so I always delay it.

It's crazy, now that I've made all this progress in Japanese studies, that all of this began because I wanted to read WA2, ahah. Talk about anime changing lives.

good to know! honestly i've been in the same position as you so it kinda depresses me to see people going through that tbh

honestly i don't think u should really stress urself out for that, i've been a big loner through most of my life (not because i want to btw) and despite that, i think that you can still end up in a decent position if you constantly avoid things, i think it's a matter of merely trying something that you like and seeing what comes out of it
