I enjoy anime that don't have a clear plot structure. If it seems obvious that the result of the episode will be one thing or another, it takes away the enjoyment. I also enjoy anime of a mature and serious nature, that pose philosophical questions but don't provide a definitive answer, because there isn't one. While I don't primarily enjoy anime with obvious plotline or buddy anime, I acknowledge their quality for the age demographics they appeal to, and anime like Dragonball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Pokemon all hold a place in my youth, now and again prompting nostalgia.

If you know of an anime that meets my above criteria, please post it on my page. I prefer dubbed to subbed because I have bad eyesight so it's easier for me to follow when I don't have to read, but if the storyline is very good and the subs aren't poor grammatically then I will also watch subs.
